- Resident Advisor and Toronto festival SOJOURN are hosting a panel discussion on local nightlife later this month. Taking place at Sleepless Studios in downtown Toronto on Thursday, July 24th, the conversation will focus on the evolution of the city's underground rave scene. Amid the launch of more small-to-medium venues, a stronger DIY community and an influx of new promoters, how can local players sustain this momentum? Panellists include local veterans Nino Brown and Measure Divide, plus rising DJ and community organizer 999ADJ. The hour-long chat will be moderated by RA's Toronto city manager Emily Murphy, AKA Venus in Foil. The discussion, which is free to attend, happens a day before SOJOURN kicks off its second edition. Aurora Halal, Todd Edwards, Conducta, Mia Koden, Kode9, Juan Atkins, Chippy Nonstop and Invisible City are among the many acts playing the two-day event.
