RA Community Connections heads to Athens

- The next edition of Resident Advisor's global event series RA Community Connections (RA CC) is set to take place in Athens next month. Since it relaunched in June 2023, RA CC has hosted events in Miami, Glasgow, Johannesburg, Glasgow, Toronto, Bogotá and more. The latest edition, set for October 26th, will consist of two workshops and a closing DJ mixer, hosted in partnership with Fade Radio. The first workshop is a DJ session by xfutrhug, the production collective behind Greece's famed Qreclaim parties. Lower Parts Records founder Astytekk leads the event, which is geared towards beginners with priority given to queer and FLINTA-identifying people under 25. Generation Act, a local initiative promoting healthier party culture among young people, will host a second workshop focused on harm reduction and safer spaces education. Both workshops will be conducted in Greek. The Athens Community Connections event concludes with DJ sets and a mixer at Athens venue Romantso, where Athens-based DJs K.atou, kvadosh and Jeph Vanger will share the decks.
