Association for Electronic Music and RA to host summit during New York Music Month

- The free, one-day programme on June 18th consists of three panel discussions on industry themes and a mixer.
- The Association for Electronic Music (AFEM) and Resident Advisor are co-presenting a summit in New York next month. Happening on Thursday, June 18th at Elsewhere from 2.30 PM through 7 PM, the half-day programme is free to attend. Called Transmissions NYC, it features three panel discussions on key industry issues as well as a networking mixer. Part of New York Music Month, the city's official celebration of the local music industry, the event is supported by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. Panels will cover independent labels, AI and New York City's club landscape. Speakers include Jeffrey Garcia from the Office of Nightlife, promoter Ladyfag as well as executives from Warp Records and XL Recordings, among others.
