Our Senior Urea Technology Lead, Luca Edoardo Viganò, highlighted our adaptation of Snamprogetti Urea technology to meet the demand for compact, cost-effective plants capable of utilizing green hydrogen and captured CO2. He also discussed our latest advancements in low-carbon solutions, including #Bluenzyme for CO2 capture and industrialised solutions for #greenhydrogen production. Alfredo Zurzolo أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكAlfredo Zurzolo أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكSaipem is proud to have contributed to the success of the projects Liza 1 and Liza 2 in Guyana for which, during Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2023, our client ExxonMobil was awarded the “OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies” in recognition of its affiliate ExxonMobil Guyana’s Liza Development offshore Guyana. Saipem played a key role contributing to develop the first deep-water production system and the first and only fabrication yard for subsea structures in Guyana. Liza Phase 1 was one of the fastest projects of its type in the industry, cycling from discovery to production in less than 5 years, compared to the historical 10-year timeline for projects of this magnitude. Liza Phase 2 then came online about 2 years after Liza Phase 1. Within 8 years of discovery, total production from the Liza field is approaching 400,000 barrels per day — helping to responsibly meet the world’s energy needs at a critical time. The projects (Liza Phase 1 & 2) saw the installation of high-performance rigid risers for complex environments and high fatigue life. In total Saipem took less than 3 years to get from contract signature to completion of installation. #Saipem #EngineeringForASustainableFuture

Eni has increased its stake in Algeria’s Touat onshore gas field following Engie’s full exit, reshaping the project’s ownership structure. Eni now holds 42.9%; PTTEP raises its share to 34%, while Sonatrach retains 35% and continues to take all produced gas. After a shutdown caused by mercury contamination in 2021, the field has resumed production at about 13 million cubic meters per day, supporting both domestic supply and gas exports to Europe.
