Studio Odgrod is a fictional example from the AXA Foresight Report 2026, imagined as the second episode in our Foresight series led by Olivier Desbiey, Group Head of Foresight. AXA’s 2026 Foresight Report invites us to imagine possible futures through five different territories. Studio Odgrod explores a new vision for rural life, where new pioneers leave cities to settle in rural areas. They find soils damaged by industrial farming and empty villages. They decide to reinvent how we farm and live, creating resilient rural hubs and bringing life back to rural communities. The warning signs are already here: 61% of soils in the EU are in poor health. In France, Terre de Liens is already testing another path, with more than 30,000 citizens pooling their savings to secure over 300 farms for new agroecological farmers. This Foresight exploration reminds us of today’s challenges and of the need to act and adapt. Discover Studio Odgrod and the other possible futures in the AXA Foresight Report 2026:

Act for human progress by protecting what matters.

Eric Zandvliet leads the credit underwriting team at AXA XL in Paris. In 2016, a skiing accident left him with a spinal cord injury. Today, he uses a wheelchair. His message is powerful: What “disables” people at work is very often not the person, but the building, the workspace, the tools that weren’t designed with them in mind. Take one simple example: An adjustable desk for working while standing is just as effective when lowered to a comfortable height for someone using a wheelchair. Design created for one need and turning out to meet many others is, in Eric’s experience, how real accessibility often happens in the workplace. 🎥 Spend two minutes with Eric, in his own words.

€600 million in healthcare fraud, detected and stopped in a single year. Almost none of it from isolated cases. Christophe Marconi, Global Health Transformation Lead at AXA Health, works on organised networks that operate like businesses with an ops team, a growth plan, and now AI. AXA reviews around 57 million claim invoices a year. AI flags the patterns a human eye can’t hold: a margin shifted by a millimetre, a surgery billed by a clinic that doesn’t own the equipment. It never makes the call. Doctors, investigators and data scientists do. 👉 Christophe goes further in the full interview: what fraud detection looks like in 2030, and the one thing he says insurers can’t win alone https://lnkd.in/evTCGE4u

AI shouldn’t just be powerful, it has to be safe and reliable. Here, the spotlight is on how companies stay in control when they bring AI into everyday decisions. The focus is on building the right setup around the technology: people who can step in when needed, clear limits on what AI is allowed to do, and a real effort to explain and train so employees feel confident using these tools. Trust doesn’t come from AI itself; it comes from the way it is deployed. Modeling risk is what insurers have always done. AI changes the tools, not our responsibility for what the models decide. Watch the discussion with Marcin Detyniecki, Group Chief Data Scientist and Head of R&D at AXA, and Guy Mamou-Mani, board member of Impact AI, here: https://lnkd.in/eW6dXXgS

Human oversight is part of the infrastructure, not a layer added after it works. AXA launches the collaboration with Publicis Sapient to scale a Global AI Hub across the group. 5 entities - Germany, France, Switzerland, the UK and AXA XL — are already developing use cases on it, from motor claims automation to customer email processing. Deploying AI responsibly isn't a new discipline for us, it's an existing one, applied to new technology. Governance and human oversight are part of the Hub itself, not added on top.
AXA 🫱🏼🫲🏼 Publicis Sapient We're moving AXA to the next phase of its AI journey. Today we announce a partnership with Publicis Sapient to accelerate the deployment of the 'AXA Global AI Hub', a key asset for our business transformation. This Hub helps us build, deploy, and operate AI agents at scale across the Group, in a safe, secure and responsible way. It empowers our local entities to create agents that solve their specific business needs, while the global platform guarantees the security, governance, and technical reliability they can trust. For me, this marks a new way of collaborating between tech and business: with the 'AXA AI Global Hub', we provide a common, secure platform for business teams so they can focus on leveraging value for our customers. Partnering with Publicis Sapient means our teams focus on creating value for their customers, not reinventing the wheel. Discover the whole press release here: https://lnkd.in/eq5yexF5

Many of us invest more time in our passions than in our own health. This simple observation inspired AXA's latest Health campaign. Through a simple yet powerful story, the film highlights how prevention, everyday healthy habits, and early action can make a real difference before health issues become more serious.
