Usage notes

  • Placed immediately after the basis of comparison. When the basis is an adjective or an adverb, it takes the comparative form (with the suffix -ago).
  • When the same adjective is used in both sides of the comparison, the adjective is emphasized:
    Prest baino prestago nago.I'm more than ready. (literally, “I'm more ready than ready.”)
