This 4x map is inspired by the vast, open landscapes of central Montana, USA, with a strong emphasis on agriculture. It features expansive farmland, rolling plains, and realistic terrain. It features 2 towns, a vast train system connecting two of them, and a route that begins in the highlands, winds through dense forests, and descends into the valley, covering a significant portion of the map. Scattered bridges, two creeks, and a river cutting across the terrain add to the immersive experience.
Key Features:
New Crops: Alfalfa and Clover, mowable like grass, wrapable for silage and baled for animal feed.
Custom Harvestore Silo: Produces silage from grass, alfalfa, clover, and chaff (requires land ownership).
Inbuilt Corn Dryer: Converts Corn into DryCorn (requires land ownership).
New Straw Types: Corn and soybeans now produce cornstalks and bean straw, which can be baled to be sold or used as animal bedding.
Custom Productions: Whiskey, Beer, Wine, Ethanol, Soymilk, Pasta, Pizza, Cornoil, Cornflour.
Enhanced Crop Features:
- Custom corn textures with stubble destruction.
- Crop destruction effects added for all major crops.
- Grass planted will now have seasonal color change effects
- Custom geo based on the Northern United States, featuring spring planting of wheat, barley, and canola, with extended harvest periods for corn, soybeans, sorghum, and sunflowers.
Expanded Terrain Options: Additional ground textures added for paint mode.
Custom Lighting: Orange sunrise/sunset and darker nights.
Land & Farming:
- 122 arable fields, ranging from medium to large, with a few meadows.
- A Custom soil map included to support Precision Farming DLC.
- All of the map can be purchasable.
Custom Built Farms:
- 6 custom built farm areas scattered across map
- 7 empty land areas for players to build their own farms
- Each farm have color themed barns, animal pens and silos
- Custom buildings: 10 dairy barns, 6 sheep pastures, 2 pigsties,and 4 hen pens (land purchase required).
- Each farm have Custom Grain bin silos (requires land ownership).
- Each farm have a separate Corn Dryer & Harvestor (requires land ownership).
Sell Points & Economy:
- 12 sell points with varying product acceptance.
- 3 Train silos and Train sell point included.
- Bulk feed shop for seeds, lime, herbicide, fertilizer, anhydrous, and propane.
Added Realism:
- Custom Montana license plates.
- Anhydrous ammonia as a new fertilizer type. (Should work with any anhydrous applicator mods out there)
- Propane added as a resource for productions. (Map includes modded tankers for transport)
- Animal dealer have live animals at display .
- Animated airplane flying over farms and the city.
- Two fire stations with animated doors and interiors.
- Gas stations, Vehicle dealer with interiors.
Immersive Details:
- John Deere dealership with demo equipment for players to borrow.
- Custom environmental sounds and building smoke effects.
- Multi-Terrain Angle (32 angles) for better field realism.
Performance:
- Completely error-free, with only minor, harmless warnings.

Fixed issue where loading map in dedicated server gets struck at 100% compiling shaders. Updated the property type of store vehicles now so map works with Courseplay on Multiplayer
Note: After launching map for first time, Please fly around map for shader cache to generate, This will help lowend PC.

Is there a way to delete all of the pre placed farms and still use the land? I have tried it using giants editor and every time I load up the game it says there is an object still there.
Also when I buy a piece of land it adds things such as chicken coups that were not there.
they are you just cant see them till you buy them
so how do I delete them I just want to start fresh on a plot of land

BSL has some really nice Harvestore’s that work really well in all the Maps that I have going on but I have yet to drop one in this Map, give it a shot.

Hey soI don't know what you've tried thus far but it sounds like a shader error to me which is the cause of most hang ups at 100%. Are you playing on a PC? Do you know how to delete your shader cache?
If you're on a PC:
Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator25\shader_cache <-----delete the entire folder
Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator25\jim_cache <----- Delete the entire folder
Restart the game and see if it loads. If not:
Remove all of your mods except for EasyDev and restart.
Also- if it's hanging at 100%, your log will tell you why.

Is the map just abandoned now? I tried to play but when I get anywhere close to the vehicle shop, the lag and fps drops are crazy. Doesn't seem to happen anywhere else. I'm afraid to get into a playthrough and run into a bunch of crazy stuff. Does anyone know of a version anyone has at least updated to the new version of the game?
Hey there DJ Modding. Hope you are doing well. My dad and I have been enjoying your map on MP quite a lot. After Giants update to Farm Sim, v1.15.0.0, I noticed that on Judith Plains, running a no till seeder, if the tires of the tractor or seeder "destroy" the stubble, the planter is not planting over it.
I tested Judith Plains with no mods and it still did it. I tested a default giants map, both with no mods and all the mods we use on our savegame for Judith Plains, and the default map did not have the issue.
Just wanted to let you know an update Giants did caused an issue. Not the first time. :)
Hi, my cousin and I have been having issues with playing this map on multiplayer. I can join his game but anytime he joins mine he gets loaded in then gets stuck on compiling shaders. I have redownloaded the map and tried it still does the same thing he has redownloaded it still same story. Tried a new save game with no mods and still happens. Any help would be appreciated.

so alot of frame rate drop is being caused by the machines at the dealer ship as you can enter and drive and use them but they do cause extreme frame rate drop as soon as you get to the dealership. besides that the map is great.

Since the Giants Highland Fishing expansion, I have not been able to harvest alfalfa. I dont have the expansion but I have heard and experienced other issues due to it. Anhydrous not working (different map) now alfalfa, anyone else having this?

drive over it with a trailor with grain go to dump it gives message no access to that bin

Definitely strange man but it has to be a mod conflict somewhere. Hope fully you use FSG ModAssist? Create a folder for testing in there with only a few "necessary" mods like easydev, store deliveries, etc... throw in something easy like Wampsville DIY map to use when it's not a map issue and then obviously Judith Plaines and try it.
anyone else having autodrive pick up and deliver issues on this map? My workers will not drive from the field to the grain silo, unload, and drive back to the field. They work fine on any other maps, but not this one. I love this map as a whole!
You have to create the routes yourself. The map has a lot of incomplete traffic splines and AutoDrive fails to create proper intersections or map some roads.
I have latest version, and everything is up to date, but I can not for the life of me load this map. Not even with No mods except the ones required.
i keep getting fps drops when raking hay,i have a rtx 4090, its only this map and a few others with field work,not sure if it is a map issue or something else, but i love the map!!
i think the map needs updated. I have had the same issue since the last patch a couple weeks back. My fps has went from 70-80 down to 20 or less. Great map but unfortunately it seems to have been abandoned. There have been 2 game updates and nothing has been done to the map to udate.
Anyone had any issues feeding sugar beet cut to the biogas plant? It takes it fine but the levels don't increase for me.

I see a lot of folks asking about an update for this map...I hope we get one but I don't think it's going to happen. I've updated my version myself with GE. For those of you having FPS issues, the best way to fix that is to go into GE and delete all of the crap that's laying around. I deleted all the boots, cars, trucks, stools, fans, lumber, etc and gained 50 FPS. I have a 5070 so I shouldn't have to do that but DJ put a lot of details into this thing. I don't mind the details but they're useless and mostly just get in the way. I guess it gives the map a more authentic look but for my money, I'd rather have the real estate. I made all the buildings placeables and fixed the pastures. It's definitely a great map. I just hate when folks put things out half finished and then disappear. I understand that life gets in the way at times but at least let folks know what's going on.

@4NOLEZ, GE is the Giants Editor program that you use to work on maps and mods.
I did it before a new game but I've also fixed a few issues along the way and had no issues.

yeah i have and fps issues. Usually able to get 70-80 fps lowest would be 50. Now im lucky to hit 30. Loved this map now its unplayable getting 15-20 fps majority of the time.
So it's not just me. I thought it might have been a script mod I recently added but after the patch performance has been terrible on this map. Someone suggested removing all the the props, it really adds to the environment but it's just too much. I also thought about trying the multifruit edit, which has some basic fixes.
I tried the multifruit edit and it seemed to have more issues than this one.
I start a game and have no movement or control action, any ideas

This map cooks my decals on harvesters, tractors, and just overall close detail textures. Does anyone know of a fix for this
Seems like it's your GPU memory that reaches a state of imminent collapse, causing the game to downgrade decaltextures to a very low resolution. Try to lower settings and it should be fine.

since the latest patch/update by giants. Anybody else having an issue with the Judith springs map? When I go to lime my field or water it using a sprayer, my controls freeze and I have to use task manager to exit out of the game. Now when I go to get in a vehicle I get a message saying “Do not drive too deeply into the water!” I’m no where near water. Prior to the update I was having no issues. Now all of the sudden I am.
I have not had those issues but i have not updated.
My game runs way slower on the map after the last update, not sure if it's a conflict or the update. Ran other maps and no issues. Love this map.

I do expect issues in the future if the map doesn't get an update. It seems this very nice map got abandoned. No signs the Modder is working on this or anything else. Last post on FB on 06/18.

probably the best map so far, until a proper 4x ohio map comes that i can move to for a better real home map gameplay the others too small or not enough to keep me interested, i will stick with judith plains for now but to make it not wierd to use my favored case mods i built a fake case dealership near the southern town to rival the northern towns john deere shop lol

They're bugged and don't work. You can manually edit the XML file to fill them but only Hay or feed depending on the animal gives 100% productivity so you should just use hay or feed anyway
