Tino Krause shared thisMeta Connect 2026 is over, and this was a major one: While I was still at DMEXCO - Digital Marketing Expo & Conference, we announced news on personal AI agents that work for everyone and new devices that let you do more with them. Muse, your own personal AI agent, is getting more powerful and capable. Muse is getting new connectors and its own email address to do even more things on your behalf in the background. On top of this the newly announced Muse Charm allows you to take your agent everywhere you go. It is our first device explicitly built for agents, with no phone required. At the same time Meta Ray-Ban Display comes to Germany with its full color display and Neural Band, available from October. I had the opportunity to try them out during CES earlier this year and gotta say, the Neural band is an impressive technological leap to control a device. On top of this, Meta will be offering our widest lineup yet, including our first audio-only glasses, which you can wear all day. They combine open-ear audio with the power of earbuds and AI in our slimmest, lightest frames – and still have 12 hours of battery life! All of the announcements lower the bar for the daily use of agents immensely and allow people to use their personal AI agent wherever they are. Tino Krause shared thisEcosystem Power Play 🚀 Already at the DMEXCO Leadership Dinner last night (thank you, Verena Gruendel) I knew: coming back to DMEXCO was the right call. Two panels today. Two uncomfortable truths. 1️⃣ When Intelligence Scales: Turning AI into Real Competitive Advantage → Everyone will have the same models. So AI won't be the advantage. → The advantage: data nobody else has. A feedback loop that tells you what worked. An operating model you rebuilt, not retrofitted. Trust you haven't spent. → New reality: we market to agents and humans. Machine-readable brand data is now a marketing asset. Most brands haven't started. → My DACH take: we spend 95% of our energy on the risk. The winners spend it on the opportunity. James Cooper, Kristin Fracchia, Alexander Beresford, Asli Y. 2️⃣ Entertainment First. Brand Last? → Audiences owe us nothing — and they've never been better at avoiding us. → A brand is memory, not a logo. Memory comes from many small contacts, not one long moment. → "How much brand is enough?" stays a taste debate as long as success gets defined afterwards. Set the KPIs up front. Prove lift, not reach. → Organic rewards what people watch voluntarily. Paid rewards the brief. Same platform, two languages. Translate, and you have to control less. Kim Notz, Peer Wörpel, Francesca Lange 🤘, Robin Blase, Daniel Hoffmann And the best part: the people. 🙏 Ulrich Klenke, Maike Abel, Dr. Nicolai Johannsen, Alma Lipa, Alexander Ewig, Rik Strubel, Stefanie Hartstern, Giuseppe Fiordispina, Florian Haller, Philipp Justus, David Dugan, Claus Broeckers, Timucin Güzey, Thorsten Ebbing. #DMEXCO26 #newDACH 🇩🇪🇦🇹🇨🇭

Tino Krause shared thisThe first-ever WhatsApp Business Summit in Germany put into perspective how quickly business messaging has become the new norm ⚡ Over 70% of adults now chat with businesses online. For many people, messaging has become a natural way to ask questions, get support, discover products, and stay connected with brands. That is why our Team at Meta, the brilliant Derya Matras among others, brought businesses and partners together in Berlin: It’s no longer about whether people want to message businesses – they do. The question is how companies can make these conversations useful, personal, and trustworthy. AI will play an important role in making personal conversations work at scale. It can help businesses respond faster without sacrificing context, thereby supporting more customers in the moments that matter most. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Berlin. I am looking forward to continuing these conversations and to see what’s next for WhatsApp! 💬

Tino Krause shared thisOn WhatsApp, brands have to earn their spot in consumers’ contact lists! 🏆 Our WhatsApp Business Summit this week was all about how you do it! 💯 Two years ago, people rarely messaged businesses on WhatsApp. Today it is a permanent staple in our client conversations and people message multiple brands each day – but only those they trust. 💬 In Germany, WhatsApp is deeply personal, used to text family and close friends. Brands have to earn the right to be in that space which is why we work closely with our partners to create an authentic messaging profile that consumers trust. The numbers back it up too: Messaging preference increased further over the last year and 55% of consumers trust a business more when they can message it. One thing we regularly highlight to our clients: you are still early. Most companies in DACH are only starting on WhatsApp and everybody has the chance to lead in their industry. Be curious, be authentic, and earn your spot in users' minds before the competition does. With AI, personal conversations at scale work and they are becoming a growth driver where people go to discover, ask, buy, and stay loyal. Grateful for the partnership and commitment from everyone who joined us this week in Berlin. We are looking forward to continuing these conversations over the next quarter! Tino Krause shared thisBuilding the future of marketing requires partnerships – our theme for Meta Marketing Summit 2026 📍🎉 Our Meta Marketing Summit is known to bring brands, agencies, and creators into one room, but yesterday’s event was especially focused on how the industry changes – and what remains for each partner in the future. People were asking hard questions, sharing their work, pushing each other to think bigger. 🐦🔥 Brands bringing creative bravery. 💥 Agencies pushing boundaries. 🏗️ Meta building the tools that make it work. Thank you to everyone who made today happen. Looking forward to everything ahead! 🎥 Video credits: Fabian Kirchner

Tino Krause shared thisStart thinking in systems ⚙️ Today, I had the privilege of welcoming DACH's top marketing minds to our Meta Marketing Summit in Berlin and it made me think, how much our industry has been changing. In earlier days, we managed a dozen things separately – targeting, creative testing, measurement. We brought it together manually. By now, many are building systematic engines businesses grow on and that learns and adapts. It finds audiences, generates creative and optimises spend with full focus on outcome. This requires a new expectation of ourselves – we have to become system thinkers. We set the vision and we define what “great” looks like. The creative instinct and human understanding – that stays with you. AI handles the complexity in data and tools. But still, we have to understand and catch if there are errors in the system. What wins? The best creative, the clearest signals, and honest measurement of what's working. So, if you’re working in marketing and are looking to drive value for your company I would recommend to constantly ask yourself three questions – which we also tackled during our program at Meta Marketing Summit today: ✅ How do you build a lasting brand when AI decides what people see? ✅ What does creative bravery look like when AI can generate infinite variations? ✅ How do you prove marketing drives growth, not just dashboard impressions? Thank you so much to everybody who joined us today, for the partnerships and commitment to work closely with us every day. And of course the great team at Meta DACH, wo put this together! 📸 Credit Fabian Kirchner

Tino Krause shared thisThe Power of Partnerships In December 2024 we sat together in Menlo Park: Dr. Karsten Wildberger, at the time CEO of CECONOMY, and our team. The question on the table: how do we make sure technological innovation doesn't only happen in Silicon Valley, but in Europe too — and how much strong partnerships matter to get there. Today, at IFA Berlin 2026, we showed one answer. Together with our partners 1SP Agency and CUPRA Deutschland, we're presenting a world premiere: an AI Glasses use case for the new CUPRA Raval. Computer vision, speech, gestures, specific product knowledge and governed data storage brought together into one shared context. Innovation made in Europe. Not someday — today. Which made it all the more special to welcome to our booth this morning: • Dr. Karsten Wildberger – Federal Minister for Digital and State Modernisation • Dr. Silke Launert – Parliamentary State Secretary, Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space • Stefan Evers – Mayor of Berlin and Senator of Finance, today representing the Governing Mayor • Franziska Giffey – Mayor and Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, Berlin. A special thank you to Markus Oeller, Camillo Stark, Giuseppe Fiordispina and Tobias Baumann — for the pace, the ambition, and the courage to turn a new technology into a concrete use case this early. And to CUPRA and the Volkswagen Group: one of Germany's most iconic brands taking this step with us is exactly the signal Europe needs right now. Strong partnerships aren't a nice-to-have. They're how innovation gets built in Europe. #IFA2026 #AIGlasses #Meta #CUPRA #Volkswagen #ArtificialIntelligence #ComputerVision #Innovation #MadeInEurope #Partnerships #AIWearables 📸 Jens Ahner

Tino Krause shared thisDMEXCO always had a special place in my heart. After a few years, I am looking forward being back on stage this year! AI is here to stay, and that means that the old narrative – productivity gains for the competitive edge – is no longer enough. Going forward, the deciding factor is how to implement AI to smartly enable growth. The most useful perspectives rarely come from one company or one sector. They emerge when people compare experiences, challenge assumptions, and explore what becomes possible through strong partnerships. That is why I value discussions like the one I will be joining later this month DMEXCO - Digital Marketing Expo & Conference 2026. And I want you to be a part of it. Join the discussion online! If there is a question you would like us to explore, share it in the comments. I’d be very excited to hear from you! With me on stage will be Kristin Fracchia, Chief Growth Officer Gamma, Vanessa Stützle, CEO of Luqom Group, Jay Trestain, Executive Partner for Marketing and Transformation IBM Consulting, and James Cooper, Editor in Chief, Digiday Media. They all will bring their perspectives to the table to discuss how businesses can connect AI with human judgment, creativity, trust, data strategy, and strong brands – and how to turn these principles into sustainable growth. 🗓️ https://lnkd.in/eXXpZAvz

Tino Krause shared thisThe Power of Partnerships 💪🤝 What more could you ask of a partner than knowing all the business fundamentals – and being available 24/7 on WhatsApp? That’s what DeliveryHero’s new agentic AI assistant offers! The assistant is built for restaurants and local shops. Businesses where a small group of people, often just one person, manages everything. Through text, voice messages, and images, they now have the opportunity to outsource a lot of that workload. The agent can help with a wide variety of tasks, from marketing decisions to menu changes – and it’s available where most conversations happen: WhatsApp 💬 Powered by Meta’s messaging infrastructure, the assistant can analyse a business’s needs, recommend next steps, and take action once the owner approves. It can support tasks such as improving menus, creating promotions, managing advertising, and responding to customer reviews – and it learns from previously rejected ideas, becoming an invaluable business partner over time. The results speak for themselves: restaurants using the assistant through Glovo, DeliveryHero’s brand in Southern Europe, Central Asia and Africa, saw customer orders increase by 15 percent. More than 40,000 partners are already using it, and the ongoing roll-out will be sure to supercharge those numbers. As you all know, I am a strong believer in the power of partnership. Cooperations between major players in the industry make headlines, but what excites me about this release is the tangible benefit it provides to small businesses around the globe. My heartfelt congratulations to the Delivery Hero team on the launch! Johannes Bruder Hendrik Wittrock Florian V.

Tino Krause liked thisTino Krause liked thisAmerica… here we go again. 😎🇺🇸 The next few days will be intense - Miami, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Seattle and Austin are all on the agenda, with quite a few meetings along the way. These trips can be exhausting, but they’re also incredibly motivating and inspiring. There’s simply no substitute for meeting in person - understanding each other’s needs better, deepening relationships, experiencing technologies and prototypes firsthand, and having the kind of conversations that are difficult to replicate over video calls. We already have some exciting meetings lined up, but if you’re somewhere along the route and think we should meet, just reach out. We’ll happily try to make it work. Looking forward to a very inspiring week - and probably a little less sleep than usual. 😵💫😄 #Gixel #SmartGlasses #AI

RTL is buying Sky Deutschland for €150m. April 8 is the EU deadline. If approved, they become the third-largest streaming platform in DACH with 11.5 million paying subscribers. On paper it looks like a classic consolidation play. Two legacy broadcasters joining forces to compete with Netflix and Amazon. What I found more interesting is the backstory. Sky Deutschland has never made a profit. Comcast bought it in 2018, spent years trying to make it work, and is now selling it to a European group for what is — let's be honest — a relatively modest price given the €2bn in annual revenues. The real bet here is not on the present. It's on the sports rights. Bundesliga, Premier League, Formula 1 — combined with RTL's entertainment and news brands. That's the package that could finally justify the subscription in a market where German consumers are historically resistant to paying for TV content. €250m in expected synergies within three years. That's ambitious. And the April 8 EU deadline is close enough to make this very concrete, very fast. European media is consolidating because it has no choice. The question is whether consolidation alone is enough — or whether scale without differentiated content is just a bigger problem. Is this the move that finally creates a credible European streaming challenger, or just two struggling players becoming one bigger struggling player? Full article in the first comment
