Conveo was co-founded by Hendrik Van Hove and Dieter De Mesmaeker on the vision of delivering rich, actionable consumer insights based on AI-moderated video interviews. Conveo chose Google Cloud because it met their fundamental requirements for building a scalable, enterprise-ready service. The platform is well-supported by infra-as-code tools, is easy to deploy Docker containers, and provides good integration with GitHub Actions to trigger deploys. Crucially, Google Cloud provides the necessary security required by their enterprise clients: Over the past twelve months, Conveo increased the number of videos processed by a factor of 10.5.
Leveraging Google's Transcoder API for video normalization and Cloud Run for scalable processing, Conveo built an advanced, automated processing system handling hundreds of interview videos daily, making insights timely and actionable.

Looking ahead, the challenge for Conveo is to maintain their market lead, which Florian Hendrickx, Chief Growth Officer at Conveo, estimates is only "three or twelve months ahead" of competitors. The strategy is twofold: continuously producing the best product and ensuring strong customer relationships. The immediate challenges center on managing their vast workload and hiring about 10 to 15 more people.
