Long, Long ago…
The Autarch Maleth built his laboratory high above Urth, a shining star in the Voids of Vaarn. No desert bandits or warring Faa clans to distract from hypergeometric experiments; soon limitless energy would be at his fingertips. When the science-thralls finally ripped a hole into the roiling sea somewhere between the atoms of creation they all screamed as one...

Recently…
The silent space station drifted across the night sky for untold generations. It’s orbit slowly decaying. Just weeks ago it reached the thermosphere and passed through a cloud of space junk, causing heavy damage and even faster descent.

Now…
An automated shuttle descends to the Vaarnish desert, programmed to seek long dead thralls to make repairs. Unwary adventurers who investigate will find themselves whisked away to a ruin, home only to the ghosts of mans hubris.

Overview...
The Sea of Fear  is a short adventure for Vaults of Vaarn  by Leo Hunt and is designed for PC’s of level 3. This vault features a time limit mechanic; the space stations orbit is quickly decaying and will soon crash to Urth. Players will need to get in, find what treasures they can, and escape before it is too late.

The PDF is designed for easy printing and folding in an a5 format, but is also hyperlinked to the Vaults of Vaarn SRD for easy reference!
