The daily word chain. Find the word in the middle: pizza and pasta are linked by tomato. Five rounds a day, the same for everyone, and one guess a round.

How to play

• Two-word bridge, three rounds: one word that belongs with both clues.
• Three-word bridge, one round: one word that fits all three clues.
• Closest connection, one round: the word nearest in meaning to the clue.

Each round is worth up to 1000 points, 5000 in all. Past days are kept in the archive.
