Thermae: Grace Unto God is a short exploratory experience with no objectives, goals, or end.

It is recommended to play this during a quiet, solitary moment in your day (however rare those may be.) Wear headphones and be prepared for a leisurely self-guided walk.

Your time is precious. Spend as long (or little) as you want in the thermae. It is a resting stop. Not a destination.

Such a beautifully atmospheric work! At first, I thought being alone in this space might eventually feel a little eerie with all the quiet and solitude—but the way the glowing lights drifted around gave me this strange sense of connection, and I really loved that.

- Spoilers below

At first, I wondered about the moving light orbs—they felt oddly human in the way they moved. I wasn’t sure if they were other online players, or maybe replays of past players’ movements, or even animations set up by the creator.

But then the final message made it clear that none of our movements were recorded, and that gave me a sense of relief.

And that last message itself… it was so good!

I really did relax while playing, and when I finally stepped out of the Thermae at the end, I left the space with genuine gratitude—just like the message said. It was a truly meaningful and fulfilling time, meow! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ♡
