The Rare and COMPLEX Epilepsies Continuity of Care Rights Charter is here! No one should fall through the cracks when moving from pediatric to adult care. The Charter sets out 10 rights that define what good transition of care looks like when people living with rare and complex epilepsies move from pediatric to adult care. They cover dignity and inclusion to coordinated care, personalized planning, caregiver support, multidisciplinary services, and lifelong follow-up. It also calls on policymakers to turn these rights into reality through national strategies, clear guidelines, adequate resources, and accountability. Across Europe, access to lifelong, coordinated care remains uneven. While good practices exist, too many people living with rare and complex epilepsies still face gaps in support. This Charter provides a shared vision and a roadmap for change, helping ensure that everyone living with rare and complex epilepsies can live their best possible lives. Today, PatientView has released the Neurology Edition of ‘The Corporate Reputation of Pharma, 2025-2026’. The report captures the perspectives of 352 neurology patient groups across 67 countries. These respondent organisations collectively support more than 4 million people living with neurological conditions. The survey results show perceived improvements across several areas of industry performance over the past five years, according to respondent neurology patient groups. At the European Epilepsy Congress this year (#EEC2026), we're proud to contribute to important conversations on the evolving management of epilepsy and developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs). 📊 Through 18 abstracts and a dedicated symposium, we will contribute to conversations on: 🔹 Investigating seizure control in rare syndromes such as CDKL5 deficiency disorder (CDD) 🔹Outcomes that matter to patients and caregivers, from everyday functioning to daily living 🔹Adults living with DEEs, including the transition from paediatric to adult care By continuing to build evidence across a range of patient experiences, we hope to support a broader understanding of epilepsy and its management. #UCBGlobal
