Simon Revelman shared thisReally enjoyed sitting down with Sam Bradon on CTO Consulting ‘s Inside AI. We covered vendor accountability, cutting through AI pitch fatigue, and why real world proof of concepts must come before 3-year lock-ins. Curious to hear from other tech leaders—how are you keeping vendors accountable to their ROI numbers right now? Check out the full episode below. 👇 craveable brands.Simon Revelman shared thisVendors love to talk AI ROI. Simon Revelman makes them prove it first. 👇 As CIO of craveable brands. (Red Rooster, Oporto, Chicken Treat, Chargrill Charlie's), he's watched every software company, consultancy and integrator show up with an AI pitch and a big number attached. His response: show me skin in the game. → Unpaid POCs (proof of concepts) before anyone gets paid → Rewards tied to metrics actually realised → Trial periods, not 3-year lock-ins "A lot of people talk the talk, but they haven't walked the walk yet." 🎧 The full episode of Inside AI with CTO Consulting's Sam Bradon is ready to view now. https://lnkd.in/gSB7NZJs #InsideAI #QSR #VendorManagement

Simon Revelman shared thisDelighted to represent craveable brands. and join the Modern Security Leaders Panel at 6 Degrees Media 6D Security AI Conference in Sydney yesterday with Doug Hammond, James Ng and Cameron Martin. We explored how AI is affecting and reshaping the expectations placed on today’s security professionals — and what leaders must do to stay ahead. I emphasised that: - AI hasn't changed the fundamentals - only the velocity - Foundational skills remain non-negotiable - Boards will continue to evaluate risk the same way - clarity and simplicity still win - Apprenticeship pathways remain essential. Graduates still need structured development to build real security judgement. #6DSecurityAI

Simon Revelman shared thisDelighted to join Jacqui Vieusseux on stage to discuss Frictionless Franchise: AI-Driven Hospitality Management at Salesforce World Tour Sydney. We discussed how craveable brands. are shifting to a frictionless experience for franchisees and customers, using data to really understand our customers to be able to provide the right offer at the right time and how we are evaluating and adopting AI, sorting the excitement from the cost, and selecting solutions that will payback.

Simon Revelman shared thisI can highly recommend Simon W for a role in your organisation. He led the technical integration of Chargrill Charlies into the Craveable Brands systems, working with many stakeholders to oversee a seemless transition. Prior to this, he supported Craveable through his role at Fourth supporting Macromatix, our inventory management system.Simon Revelman shared thisI'm looking for a new role! My perfect role would be as a Senior Sales Engineer or similar, selling an amazing product that I can get passionate about. I have a complete and strong skillset of pretty much anything you want to include as a requirement for these roles, be it excellent communication skills, running engaging workshops, impactful demos or eliciting requirements, story telling, value selling or, my specialty, making the deeply technical seem straight forward and understood whether talking to c-suite or tech teams. With all that said, the exact role is not hugely important to me. Anyone who has worked with me knows I have a broad skillset, am a great team player and a quiet leader, and to me it is more important that I am challenged and delivering value to my team and customer than what, specifically, I am doing, or what title I work under. To that end I am open to pretty much any role you feel I could delight in, be that Senior/ Principal Consultant, Business Analyst, Program Delivery, Solutions Architect, the list goes on. If you have, or know of, a role you think I may be a good fit for, please reach out for a chat, if nothing else it will be nice to catch up. Token image to make my post more noticeable. Note to self; need to update your headshot, your hair has migrated south into a beard now...

Simon Revelman liked thisSimon Revelman liked thisWe achieved double digit sales growth! What a week at Oporto ! We have been striving for double digit sales growth for some time now and last week we achieved it! The deal was, each week we hit double digit growth, I would wear the chicken (ok.. duck) hat on my commute into work. And today, for the first time, I donned the hat! So proud of our Franchisees, Restaurant Teams and Support Office team who continue to put in the effort and passion every week, building momentum, making this possible! One week down! Now to do it again! Go team!

We’re loving sharing the nostalgia of 1986 with our Oporto fans. Whether you came for our iconic Bondi Burger, back to its original glory with a soft bun, egg mayo, grilled 100% whole muscle chicken breast and our legendary chilli sauce OR maybe you just came for the $2.86 price (I forgive you). A huge thank you for supporting our Restaurant Teams, Managers and Franchisees today, and celebrating turning 40 with us. Haven’t made it in yet? The day’s not over meus amores! Simon Revelman liked thisSimon Revelman liked thisThe sauce Australians have been addicted to for 40 years. 🔥 Long before "secret sauces" became a thing, Oporto's Original Chilli Sauce was already building a cult following. The kind of condiment fans put on everything, not just chicken. Forty years since ANTONIO CERQUEIRA first brought Portuguese-style flame-grilled chicken to Bondi, that same chilli sauce, made with fresh chillies, garlic, lemon and ginger, remains one of the brand's most distinctive ingredients and a key reason customers keep coming back. Today, Oporto has grown into Australia's largest Portuguese QSR brand, with more than 200 restaurants across Australia, New Zealand and Dubai. It's a simple formula, really. Great food, bold flavours and a commitment to doing things differently. As Oporto celebrates 40 years, we're recognising the franchise partners, restaurant teams, suppliers and loyal customers who have helped build one of Australia's most iconic restaurant brands. Congratulations to the entire Oporto team and franchise network on four decades of flavour, passion and growth. Want the full story behind Oporto's 40-year journey and what's next for the brand? Simon Revelman liked thisSimon Revelman liked thisGrocery tourism is one of my favorite parts of moving countries (I've just moved from Australia to New York). You learn a lot about a country from its supermarkets: what it snacks on, which product benefits matter, what it's willing to pay a premium for. Here are some products that stopped me at Whole Foods Market recently, with a few key call outs below: → Mid-Day Squares: the impactful branding, fiber and protein front of pack, and a name that names the occasion. → Graza oil: making cooking oil cool and bringing genuine fun to a traditionally boring category. → Tate's Bake Shop Pumpkin Spice Cookies: the packaging holds onto a small-batch, home-baked feel at scale, with a highly relevant limited-edition seasonal flavor. Some of these were at eye level and simply doing their job. But most I reached for because the design earned it - or because I'd been following the brand and finally got to see it IRL 💜

Simon Revelman liked thisSimon Revelman liked thisA great read and one I’m particularly proud to see our Franchising General Manager, Carl Tjandra, featured in. The franchise industry is changing, and I think Carl has nailed an important point, finding the right franchisee isn’t simply about finding someone with the capital to invest. It’s about finding people with the capability, mindset and drive to build something great. I see first-hand how important that fit is. The right franchisee can make a huge difference, not just to their own business, but to the strength of the brand as a whole. Great to see Carl sharing his perspective on what really matters when it comes to building a successful franchise network. Worth a read 👇 https://lnkd.in/gfX4XQCY craveable brands.
