I'm excited to share our recent publication on nature.com: 🧪🔬🚀 “Data-driven construction of an imine reductase library capable of broad-scope reductive amination at equimolar substrate concentrations.” Proud to be first co-author together with Sarah Berger and grateful to be part of the Uni Graz project with amazing collaborators at Roche and Innophore. Along the way, I enjoyed fantastic discussions, teamwork, and outstanding coordination by my former supervisor Jörg Schrittwieser! 🤝💡 In short: We present a data-driven approach to assemble an IRED library that enables broad-scope reductive amination at 1:1 substrate ratios, advancing efficient, selective, and more sustainable biocatalysis. 🌱 Check out our prediction of the IREDs' enantioselectivity with three key amino acid residues! 🌟 Read more: https://lnkd.in/eEvfAWjK #UniGraz #Roche #Innophore #Biocatalysis #ImineReductase #ReductiveAmination #DataDriven #EnzymeEngineering #GreenChemistry #TeamScience A huge thanks to all collaborators: Sarah Berger, Marco Cespugli, Andreas Krassnigg, Tobias Schopper, Isabel Oroz Guinea, Stephan Vrabl, Lukas Römer, Melanie Weber, Fabian Kulier, Yuliya Orel, Bettina Nestl, Christian C.
