Sultan Al Owais, VP – International Execution, and Afra Almusayebi, Manager – Growth at Khazna, participated in the Germany–UAE Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence and Energy in Munich, held as part of the UAE Presidential State Visit to Germany. The session opened with remarks from H.E. Sharif Salim Al-Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and H.E. Katherina Reiche, Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, setting the context for a broader discussion on the intersection of AI, energy and infrastructure. Bringing together leaders from government, industry and research, the roundtable explored the growing role of AI in the energy sector, including the infrastructure and power requirements needed to support increasingly compute-intensive workloads. As AI infrastructure continues to scale, close collaboration across the data center, energy and technology ecosystems will be critical to ensuring the capacity, resilience and operational readiness required to support future demand #WeAreKhazna

Khazna and Siemens have signed an MoU aimed at exploring the technologies shaping the next generation of AI data centers.   Through the MoU, the two companies will look to collaborate on AI-ready infrastructure, digital twins, next-generation power architectures, technology testing and the development of Emirati engineering talent.   By combining Siemens’ expertise in electrification, automation and digitalization with Khazna’s experience in developing and operating large-scale data center infrastructure, the agreement aims to advance practical solutions that enhance the scale, resilience and efficiency of future AI infrastructure. Greg Jasmin, Chief Commercial Officer at Khazna, represented Khazna at the Global Energy Efficiency Alliance’s first Executive Technical Roundtable, held during the Middle East Energy conference under the theme “From Words to Actions.”   The roundtable brought together senior industry leaders and technical experts to discuss practical approaches to improving energy efficiency, accelerating meaningful action, and supporting the development of more sustainable and resilient infrastructure.   Greg shared Khazna’s perspective on the role of data center operators in addressing rising digital demand while continuing to advance operational efficiency and responsible growth across the region. #WeAreKhazna
