A Major Milestone in Road Safety Infrastructure Delivery Al Geemi Contracting Company L.L.C. is pleased to announce that the Road Safety Improvements Project along the E90 Highway from Hameem to Arada has successfully progressed to the project handover stage. Spanning approximately 85 km across the Al Dhafra Region, this important infrastructure project focuses on enhancing road safety, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening mobility along one of Abu Dhabi’s key transportation routes. The project involved upgrading the existing pavement structure, improving associated road infrastructure, and enhancing critical road safety features to support safer and more reliable journeys for road users. Reaching this milestone reflects the dedication and collaboration of our project teams, engineers, HSE professionals, QA/QC teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and all stakeholders who contributed to the successful progress of the project while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and engineering excellence. Advancing Road Safety on the E90 Highway: A Milestone in Infrastructure Delivery

It was a pleasure to welcome The British University in Dubai (BUiD) team to Al Geemi Contracting LLC for a productive knowledge-sharing session, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in shaping the future of the construction sector. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for engaging discussions between BUiD academics and Al Geemi's management, project managers, and engineering professionals. We exchanged insights on the evolving challenges of project delivery, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, leadership, and the competencies required to prepare the next generation of project management professionals. We were also pleased to learn more about BUiD's Joint MSc Project Management Programme, developed in collaboration with the University of Leeds, UK—the first joint MSc Project Management programme of its kind in the UAE. Initiatives such as this play an important role in bridging academic excellence with practical industry experience while supporting the continuous development of construction professionals. At Al Geemi, we strongly believe that close collaboration between universities and industry is essential to accelerating the digital transformation of the construction sector. By combining academic research, emerging technologies, and practical project experience, we can foster innovation, improve project performance, develop future industry leaders, and contribute to a more sustainable and digitally enabled construction industry.
