How to redirect to login page after logout from separate tabs? #12320

Here is my scenario

everything works well

i can log in, logout, redirect on log out sessions clear and reestablish and my content is locked down when not logged in

and i can do this from multiple browsers independently

My problem is multiple tabs

if in 1 browser (chrome for example) i have tab a and tab b both using the correct login session

and i logout from inside tab a

and then transition to tab b

right now no content is available in tab a or tab b so im stilll locked out which is good

but i want all events to affect a redirect to the front page

what api call is there i couldn't find one that achieves that functionality?
