Uh oh!

Hello everyone,
I just encountered an odd issue. I've written my own user storage SPI, which can be configured by the usual configuration page. However, this SPI needs to connect to a database and thus, when the FactoryProvider is loaded, a hikari pool starts. However, when this hikari pool cannot establish a connection, a exception is thrown.
While this is usually fine and just results in 500er errors when trying to login, this also stops me from deleting the realm by the CLI (kcadm), as this seems to load up the realm, "crash" due to the exception and then not deleting it. This is worse as I am deploying realms already preconfigured for environments with the realm export and import functionality. Sadly, once misconfigured, an import with --override true is also not possible anymore.
Is there any possible solution to recover from such mistake by, for example, force deleting it or setting some kind of configuration setting? I recovered by setting the value in the database to the correct one, but that would be quite some effort on a production system and something I would not be very happy with.
