I'm currently creating an authentication flow with multiple factor authentication, implementing custom SPIs that I've developed on my own. While loggin in, user should be able to select one of the authentication methods listed and procceed with authentication.
I've configured the 2FA methods as alternative in a subflow and I'd like that only eligible authentication methods were listed as options when users are logging in. To achieve this, I've setted up the configuredFor method for each authenticator and it seems to work. However, when the first authentication method from the list is elegible to the current user, all other methods are listed below it, even if they are not configuredFor the current user.
All my authenticators implements the authenticator interface only and it seems that Keycloak's 2FA work correctly and are not listed to user if they are not elegible, even if configured below my custom authenticators.
I'd like to know if I'm missing something here or even if it is some unexpected Keycloak behavior.
