Upgrading from 18 to 20 using Spring Boot embeded Keycloak #15496

I'm trying to update this project bellow from keycloak 18.0.0 to 20.0.1 but I'm getting this error:

[ main] org.keycloak.services : java.lang.IllegalStateException: Not able to load any cryptoProvider with the classLoader: jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader@1d44bcfa

Upgraded RESTEasy to 4 too. RESTEasy and Infinispan to the same version of pom.xml of keycloak

How to solve that?

Fixed that by importing crypto on pom file.

Now my project isn`t found the template files. Anubody?

Hi,

Refering to the following issue: https://issuehint.com/issue/keycloak/keycloak/12619, it seems to be something related to to the new keycloak admin (admin2). I didn't figured out what precisely tho. Same apply for the v20.

As a temporary fix, I was able to mitigate the issue by setting the following properties:

keycloak.profile.feature.admin2=disabled
keycloak.profile.feature.admin=enabled

Not perfect as feature.admin is deprecated, but temporarily acceptable for a dev environment I believe.

Thanks for the reply. I did it by importing the templates using admin2.

If you want to, you can see my repo using keycloak 20 with admin2 template and a custom template by me.

Indeed, I am now able to start the admin2 just by adding those exclusions in my POM:
