I have implemented an Events Listener which is activated in the KC Events Config tag. Everything was working fine and there were no changes made, but all off a sudden I started getting the following error: ERROR [org.keycloak.events.EventBuilder] (default task-3355) Event listener 'saml-event-listener-provider-factory' registered, but provider not found. and obviously it goes without saying that the Event Listener is not invoked. |

Well, it ended up being some mysterious issue. During development the listener name was misspelled with an extra S and was fixed before it ever got containerized and moved to production, but for some reason, somewhere it still has the misspelled listener and "occationally" when you add it in to a new realm, it adds it in with the old name causing issues. Just deleted it and re-added it and everything works fine. It is important to note that the misspelled one does not even show up in the list of listeners to be added, so how it sometimes adds it in when you are selecting the correct one, is a mystery. |
