Hello Everyone,
We are finally upgrading a client from version 12 to the latest 19 of Keycloak.
Seeing all the changes that took place during these years, I'm wondering which would be the best solution to implement today.
We were mostly running keycloak directly on a VM and configuring the config files.
The VMs are managed by our client, but we manage keycloak lifecycle on these VMs.
Could anyone describe me briefly the advantages and disavantages of our design compare to the numerous new way of installing keycloak now ? Docker / Kubernetes / Openshift.
I have limited experience with docker and none with kubernetes & openshift so this will be a challenge anyway, but I'm starting to think that bare metal is just not the way to go anymore in 2022.
Thanks for your precious help on this topic
