Slice
On a Mac installed from a release, sign in with min auth login, and a GitHub grant box runs gh api user through the proxy with no extra step.

Added to the plan on 2026-10-31 by the owner in the close-out walk: the release ships no bep (#2498), so no installed host runs the proxy.
