Greetings, my name is Ismael. I am currently building my own tool with MediaTek support based on mtkclient. It has helped me a lot. I already have this module implemented along with my Qualcomm module. Right now, I am having difficulty when working with devices that are preloader, but for those that are BROM, I can do FRP, flash, and DEMSA. However, if the device is MediaTek preloader, that's where I am stuck in that area. |

Dear all, |
Realme requires bootloader unlocking through their app, while Oppo simply doesn't provide fastboot access. As far as I know, Oppo can only be officially unlocked in China or somewhere like that. I created my own method for that. which is completely universal and depends on the capabilities of mtkclient. I usually thought that with OnePlus everything is much simpler, but recently, using the example of the OnePlus 10R, I learned that OnePlus can also have blocked fastboot, using the example of Oppo But we've strayed from the topic. If someone needs to remove the lock password without losing data, they should look into forensic detective programs. Oxygen Forensics Detective does this, but it has a price tag to match. |

Why should USB debugging work? It's nonsense. |

Hello, my name is Ian. Ex-IT support - servers & backup - now retired (I started with CP/M!!). No android experience before, but I'm finding mtkclient very useful for recovering some 6580 tablets - so thank you very much, Bjorn |

Well, after a bit more thought, I decided it should be this, and it works - |

Just an update on this: |

Hello, I am an undeniably strange person. I have a Linux and programming background and probably wouldn't be asking a question here if it weren't for some unfortunate life circumstances. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a usable computer upon which I can install USB drivers, just access to some library computers, as well as 2 phones. The phones are Moto G 2025's (mt6835), and I wish to copy the data from the first over to the second (since the first has a broken screen) without having to use some sort of Google migration. I have Termux installed on my first phone and can even access the other phone with ADB over USB, but am having trouble getting mtkclient to work properly through Termux, let alone getting it to access the other's BROM (I realize these were probably never designed to go together, but this is probably my last option). Is there any possible way for me to use mtkclient to access my second phone through the first? If not, what can I do to make it so? I have enough free time to experiment/develop something, I think. |
