Our mission is to elevate YAML from an Open Source infrastructure reliant solely on volunteer maintenance into a professionally stewarded, enterprise-hardened cornerstone of global technology infrastructure. We resolve systemic technical debt across the YAML Family of libraries, enforce modern supply chain security standards, and deliver the rigorous accountability that modern compliance demands. We ensure the standard for programmable infrastructure, the one that keeps the Internet running, is secure, reliable, and sustainable for the long term.

We are making open source sustainable for the enterprises that rely on it, without compromising the open community values that built it.

Led by YAML’s co-creator, we take direct ownership and maintainership of the core libraries (including go-yaml, PyYAML, libyaml, and yaml-serde) that power modern cloud infrastructure.

Rather than applying isolated bug fixes, we treat ecosystem debt holistically. We systematically align libraries with standard specifications, automate release engineering, and integrate robust security frameworks like SLSA compliance and automated fuzzing.
