In regards to web-based diff of check-ins, GitHub has very nice diffs for the check-ins. Instead of using the time to install trac, we could use that to move to git.

Idea: As a first step would it be possible to to a git check-in as a post check-in event on our SVN repository? That way we have all source in git as a secondary backup, and can use the web-based diff. Then at a later stage we switch the master from SVN to git.
