Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Analytics

I use Zoho Analytics to give the team an overview of our form entries. At a glance, the team can see all the info they need without having to look at individual records.

Pros

  • Displays lots of data in a neat overview
  • Can access reults in a one-page view
  • Usefull for all team members as way to monitor results

Cons

  • Only updates data from a data source every hour. Immediate updates would be better.
  • Adding more hover effects or interactive filters would be more helpful
  • Make building chart views more intuative. It's currently quite complicated and not easily customizable.
  • Enabled a more proactive, data-driven approach to tracking event attendance and adjusting marketing efforts for underperforming tracks.
  • Helps maximize attendance and engagement across event tracks with less manual effort.
  • An invaluable tool in achieving our data reporting and marketing objectives.
It's easy to connect data sources to a chart view but it's not that easy to build the exact chart view you want to see.
Zoho Analytics is scalable for small to moderately large datasets and works well for consolidated reporting from multiple sources. It may encounter performance bottlenecks at an enterprise scale or with very large data sets.
Since we use Zoho Forms, it's way easier for us to integrate Zoho Analytics with Zoho Forms. We can easily connect Zoho Forms as a data source and setup a chart view without any unecessary manual intervention.

We track attendee registrations via form entries. Zoho Analytics helps us see all attendee data at a neat glance. The marketing team then looks at which tracks we need to advertise more too based on which tracks have the lowest number of registrants.

Using Zoho Analytics

9 - They represent major functions. CEO, Director, Managers, Sales and Marketing.
1 - You just need someone technologically skilled with some knowledge of Zoho Analytics and where the functions are located.
  • Quick overview of registrations for our events
  • Easy compilation of data gathered from Zoho Forms or something similar
  • Gives everyone in the organization line of sight
  • The ease of pulling in data from other Zoho products
  • The abiliity to pull in multple sources of data across multiple Zoho apps
  • To view overall sales
  • To monitor marketing efforts in a sinlge view
  • To monitor multiple departments stats organization-wide
We have a Zoho Analytics subscription thanks to our Zoho One subscription. Our Zoho One subscription offers a lot of value for the price, so we aren't planning to move away anytime soon.

Evaluating Zoho Analytics and Competitors

Since we often use Zoho Forms to collect data, Zoho Analytics makes viewing that data a lot easier to see in an overview which is very important to our organisation.
I would see if it offers easy collection of data from multiple sources and ease of use and adoption.

Zoho Analytics Implementation

First, learn how the software works and the specific use-cases your team would want to use Zoho Analytics for, learn how to do those things, and then present your findings.
Change management was minimal - I learned that I needed to first learn how to properly use the software to be able to explain to the team how to use the software in a simple way.
  • When asked to change something on the graph I created, I couldn't immediately do as asked due to the options being too complicated
  • The team weren't convinced the UI was user-friendly enough for them to use

Zoho Analytics Training

It wasn't all that easy without training but there are online resources if you get stuck.

Configuring Zoho Analytics

I think it's definitely configurable but too complex in my opinion.
I don't really have any specific recommendations. I had to play around until I got the results I was after.
Yes - we have customized the interface extensively - We customized it to make it as easy as possible to see an overview of all current targets our organization is aiming for. This overview is highly motivating for the various departments. It was relatively easy to do but required quite a lot of knowledge of the product.
No - we have not done any custom code

Zoho Analytics Support

There is support via email but nothing else. They do take a long to reply.

We only use API integrations for data sources but it does that very well.

We use Zoho Forms and Zoho CRM as data sources to create reports and an analytics dashboard to get an overview of where we are at.

It is pretty easy to find which software they integrate with so it's pretty straight-forward.

Relationship with Zoho

Very easy. No complications as is was included in our Zoho One package and we got instant access.
Great. No issues. Not much need to contact them regarding anything.
