The conversations are always a highlight – hearing first-hand what matters most to our customers, exchanging ideas, and exploring how we shape the next dimension of rail technology. 💪 And…we have just announced some exciting news. Siemens Mobility is expanding our long-standing strategic partnership with Infrabel to jointly modernize and maintain Belgium’s rail operation control centers through an 11-year framework agreement. Together, we will drive the continuous evolution of signaling software and operational hardware for one of Europe’s densest rail networks. Cybersecurity will be a key focus throughout. By aligning our strategic priorities over the next 11 years, we can enhance the digital systems used to manage rail traffic across Belgium. The goal is clear: a Belgium rail system that is more resilient, secure, and innovative for decades to come. This is the future we’re building together. 🤝
Infrabel at Belgium. Rings a bell? The long-term technology and infrastructure partner of Siemens. Now they are joining hands to modernise Belgium’s railway which is the densest in Europe after Switzerland and Czech Republic. It must be a massive project then. Best wishes to their new undertaking.
