Being remote-first has been a superpower for us. But there’s nothing like seeing it all in one room - the passion, the energy & the excitement for what’s ahead. Now onwards - so much more to build!

Remote-first can definitely scale a company globally, but I think there’s another interesting challenge that comes with that growth: keeping everyone aligned as the team gets larger. Technology solves the communication problem surprisingly well, but shared experiences can solve a different problem—context, trust, and culture. For growing companies, the real question may not be “remote or office?” but “what should we deliberately bring people together for?”
Getting 800 people from 50 countries into one room costs a fortune in coordination, which tells you the payoff isn't the work itself. It's the shared context that remote work quietly erodes. The real question isn't whether to gather, it's cadence: how long you can run remote before the misalignment bill exceeds the offsite bill.
