Hyderabad’s momentum is hard to miss — and at Knowledge Realty Trust, we see it first-hand through our portfolio, tenants and partners across the city. Thank you to David Westin and the Bloomberg team for the opportunity to share my perspective on why India’s biggest technology companies and global capability centres continue to bet on Hyderabad. It was particularly special to do the interview live from Knowledge City — the “crown jewel” of the KRT portfolio, right in the heart of Hyderabad’s thriving business ecosystem. Also part of the conversation was Jon Gray, President & COO of Blackstone, who spoke about Blackstone’s support for India’s REIT industry and how REITs brought much-needed capital into a capital-starved sector, while giving ordinary investors an opportunity to own a piece of commercial real estate. A special acknowledgement to the Sattva Group and Bijay Agarwal, whose vision and commitment to Knowledge City were instrumental in creating what has today become one of Hyderabad’s landmark business destinations.
