Europe doesn't have a talent problem in spacetech. It has a capital, demand and policy problem. That was the consensus this morning, and I couldn't have asked for better company on stage. Thank you, Fiona Alston, for steering such a sharp conversation, and Viktoras Jucikas and Marius Klimavičius for bringing real depth from the investor and founder side. We discussed why space is becoming Europe's resilience infrastructure, how defence budgets act as a new anchor to spacetech, which in turn is pulling investor interest into the sector, and the structural disadvantages we still need to overcome. If we want European spacetech to stay European, we need growth capital that doesn't force founders to look across the Atlantic, establish clearer picture of the customers willing to buy, and clear policy to back both.
