Eylül Nowakowska Beyazıt has one test every survey question has to pass: what will we do differently if this comes back low? Low meaning a bad answer. A 2 out of 5 on ease of use, a customer saying the product didn't do what they expected. The question is what actually happens next. Who sees that response, how fast, and what do they do about it? If the honest answer is that it gets counted and reported and nothing else changes, the question is decoration. This applies to the surveys that are supposed to drive action, the lifecycle checks feeding your health score and your CSMs. Research questions are different, they exist to tell you something you don't know yet. The clip is from our churn autopsy session with Irina Vatafu and the whole team at Custify. Full session is available on demand.

On September 30th Daniel and Tom are doing a live product session on everything we shipped in 2026. Like the Survicate MCP, server-side targeting, or better transcriptions. Just last week, Daniel was on stage at WaysConf talking about what we learned from 100 researchers about AI repositories, and how we built Research Hub. This session also covers what's coming next. There will be a Q&A session at the end, so bring all your questions. Link to register in the comments.

You know what's hard about being a product marketer planning a product update webinar? Your product team shipping something new every week It used to be manageable (kinda haha). A feature meant a spec, a design review, a launch plan, a marketing brief, a date. In the world of MCPs and agents, a new tool is a Tuesday 🤣 at least it is at Survicate Nobody convenes a committee to add one more thing an assistant can do. It’s just added, and launched. Which is why next week's webinar agenda will be getting updated until about ten minutes before we go live. It's also why the webinar exists. At some point Daniel Korczynski and I had to sit down and go: okay, we launched a lot, and it’s what the people need right now… right? Next Wednesday, September 30, we're doing that status check live. It's not all AI by the way. There are 25+ features from the last six months, including new ways to send surveys like our email surveys beta (I told you we've been busy!) Come along and tell us what you think, push back on what we've prioritized, or just sit back and watch six months of work. Which in 2026 is roughly six years worth of product development time lol. 6 PM CEST, and as always the link in the comments.

Research powinien prowadzić do realnych decyzji i mierzalnych rezultatów. W codziennej pracy z AI widzimy dokładnie to samo. I jeszcze jeden ważny wątek: data-driven nie oznacza data-only. Wojtek Smajda z IBM pokazał pułapki podejmowania decyzji wyłącznie na podstawie metryk. Przypomniał m.in. prawo Goodharta: „when a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure” oraz myśl George’a Boxa, że wszystkie modele są błędne, choć niektóre bywają użyteczne. Dlatego w researchu tak często wracamy do prostego pytania: so what? Do zobaczenia w przyszłym roku! 🚀 #WaysConf #UXResearch #UserResearch #ProductDiscovery #AI #UX #Product

This is us, trying to figure out what gives companies competitive edge in the AI era. You could say nobody really knows. And you'd be probably right. Here are my bets for b2b software: - Scalable, fast and cost-effective AI infrastructure. Everyone is saying it's cheap to build anything these days, but it's not true. Building proper headless apps require a lot of engineering expertise. - Doing product discovery the right way. You need strong product sense and technical expertise to pick the right problems to solve these days. But most importantly you need people who are experts at identifying and understanding your customer problems. For this to happen you need to have a strong customer-centric company culture. It's not only about product teams knowing your customers. It used to be a truism that a strong product strategy, backed by the right team topology, is a powerful competitive moat. I'm not sure it is anymore. In an age of sensational posts about the SaaS apocalypse and so-called "cheap execution," this needs preaching again. --- Thank you Tomasz Osowski for the opportunity to talk at WaysConf. Thanks Yoav Aviram for moderating the panel. Filip Jaskolski, Marcin Woźny it's been a pleasure to exchange thoughts, even if we didn't manage to find much to argue about this time 😀

What. An. Event. We've. Had! Engaged audience, a cozy cinema, food and drinks, and one question guiding the evening: you shipped an AI feature, how do you know it's actually working? That was the PLG Growth Lab, Warsaw Edition, which we ran with ChartMogul earlier this month. Get ready now for the longest list of thank-yous. *clears throat* Thank you to ChartMogul for co-hosting and to Sara Archer for moderating, to Olga P. and Katarzyna Mikos for organizing it all, and of course, to Piotr Cygan (Text), Krzysztof Szyszkiewicz (Valueships), Wojtek Strzałkowski (Superhero.tech) and Daniel Korczynski for the amazing panel. Thank you Tom Barragry, Eylül Nowakowska Beyazıt, Lucjan Kierczak, and anyone else on the backstage side of things! Let's end it with a a huge thank you to our audience! Daniel described you afterwards as basically the sixth panelist. It was a pleasure to host such a discussion. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We asked 42 CS and CX leaders how early they catch churn risk. 20 of them said at renewal or later. ⚠️ Irina Vatafu (Custify) named one reason for that early in the session. The accounts most likely to answer a survey are the ones already engaged, already opening your emails, already talking to their CSM. The ones who have gone quiet are the ones you never hear from. "Your sentiment scores end up built almost entirely out of people who were never at risk in the first place" Which is why one of her four rules is the one most teams skip: treat no response as a signal. An account that goes two survey cycles without answering should move the score down. Want something even more tangible? Eylül Nowakowska Beyazıt and Irina Vatafu turned all of insights from the webinar into an autopsy kit: paste it into Claude or ChatGPT and it walks you backwards through your own churned accounts. DM Eylül Nowakowska Beyazıtül or comment below and she'll send it right to ya. PS, it was one of the best sessions we've run this year, and Custify were a pleasure to build it with. 🫶 The full webinar with Eylül and Irina can now be viewed on demand.
