We're proud to have co-authored a report on Digital Asset Market Development in Emerging Economies with the GOE alliance! Emerging economies face unique pressures: organic digital asset adoption is often higher, driven by inflation hedges, efficient remittance channels, and banking access needs, yet institutional capacity remains lower. This creates a dangerous supervision gap where the cost of inaction is disproportionately high. However, because their markets are still developing, building supervision infrastructure now is significantly cheaper than retrofitting after markets have matured and fragmented. Specifically, Vietnam presents a compelling special case as one of the most advanced emerging economies creating a system of guardrails and frameworks for Digital Asset adoption. We've seen this first hand, emerging markets have the highest upside when it comes to actual onboarding of everyday people to Digital Asset-based economies and products.
