Heicoders Academy teaches AI to 12,000 students a year with fewer than 20 staff. Their competitors need over 200. When Yu Ning Kong and Min Yan Beh started Heicoders Academy, they were working full-time jobs in tech. They bootstrapped the business on weekends, teaching machine learning to small cohorts in Singapore. Today, their clients include Standard Chartered, DBS Bank, and Temasek Trust. They hold one of the highest ratings among AI course providers on Singapore’s SkillsFuture platform. The difference? They built every operational system in the company on top of Manus. When they started, Heicoders received hundreds of support requests. Instructor scheduling required manual outreach. Compliance documentation was scattered across multiple tools. The administrative weight was threatening to crush their lean team. Then Yu Ning discovered Manus.
