SoftBank has secured $1.75bn in cross-border financing to support its acquisition of ABB Robotics, with Linklaters advising the arrangers and underwriters on the transaction. Congratulations to our client Prologis, the world’s largest logistics real estate company, on its recommended offer for SEGRO plc. The £14bn offer for SEGRO represents the largest UK public M&A transaction in recent years. The transaction is expected to complete in the first half of 2027, with Prologis to implement a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange concurrently with completion. Yondr Group has sold a majority interest in one of its UK data centre campuses to UK investment fund GLIL Infrastructure LLP. Yondr will retain a minority ownership interest in the asset and continue to be responsible for its operational management following completion. An international cross-practice Linklaters team advised Yondr on the transaction. Linklaters has advised Citibank as sponsor and risk retainer on the acquisition and securitisation of a £1bn+ portfolio of Equity Release Mortgages from a subsidiary of a leading international savings and investments business.
