lagon empowers shared storage and compute economy, bridging decentralization with compliance.

About us

Iagon is an AI-driven shared storage and compute economy that bridges decentralization with compliance. Iagon’s autonomous, innovative cloud service marketplace provides privacy, security and operational sovereignty for both enterprise & retail consumers while enabling compliant solutions at the click of a button. Pioneering the next generation of cloud services, Iagon is built on the core tenets of decentralization, giving data ownership back to the users. Through data sharding, encryption, and a global network of server nodes, Iagon mitigates the security and privacy risks of traditional centralized cloud services, eliminating the possibility of data leaks, surveillance, and single points of failure.

  • Every AI rollout builds a honeypot. Our CEO, Dr. Navjit Dhaliwal, opened with that line at the Cardano Foundation stand at this week's European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona. The logic is simple. An AI model is only as useful as the context you give it. And the context worth giving is the confidential kind. So companies pull their most sensitive data into one place, and that place becomes the target. Iagon turns this around. The model comes to the data, not the other way round. Data is encrypted before it leaves, split across a sovereign network, and placed only where you allow. No single copy exists to take. Thanks to the Cardano Foundation for hosting us, and to everyone who put on the headphones and stayed for questions.

  • Some highlights from the 43rd Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime, where Dr. Navjit Dhaliwal spoke to a room of academics, prosecutors, regulators and financial crime investigators. The subject: what happens to confidential data when organisations start feeding it to AI systems. Client files. Legal advice. Internal investigations. Nobody breaks in. The data is handed over. "Confidential data isn't being taken. It's being given away, one prompt at a time." Iagon builds the layer underneath: encrypted before it leaves you, never whole in one place, and placed only where you allow. Compliance by design, not by process.

  • Enterprise data sent to AI tools last year: 18 033 terabytes, up 93% in twelve months. Nobody approved that migration.  There was no project, no vendor selection, no architecture review. It happened one paste at a time — a contract clause here, a patient summary there, by people doing their jobs faster. For twenty years security worked to spread sensitive data out, away from single points of failure.  In two years it has quietly re-concentrated — in systems outside the organization, reached through personal accounts, invisible to the people accountable for it. The perimeter didn't fail. It stopped matching the edge of the organization. That edge has to live with the data, not around it. Iagon works that way: keys stay with the customer, access conditions enforced before data is placed anywhere. Your data, your control, your future.

Engineers at OEMs have this file on their screens. Sending it is faster and cheaper than shipping the part. They ship the part instead. Not because the printer cannot do the job. Because once the file leaves, what governs it is a contract, and a contract cannot limit how many times a design is printed. Manufacturing has had the business case for digital distribution for years. What it does not have is a way to release a file without releasing control of it. New article on where that gap sits, and why closing it is an architecture question rather than a legal one.

Sovereign cloud costs 10–30% more than standard public cloud. Germany's Delos Cloud, built to keep government data out of reach of US authorities, prices at 10–20% above Microsoft's public cloud. That premium has a name in every vendor deck: the cost of sovereignty. It isn't. Sovereignty has no unit cost — jurisdiction is not a resource you consume. What's being priced is the workaround: isolated infrastructure, duplicated regions, vetted personnel. Gartner expects global sovereign cloud spend to reach $80B in 2026, up 35.6%. You're not paying for sovereignty. You're paying for the workaround. We build the other way around: residency conditions set by the customer, enforced before data is placed anywhere. Compliance by design, not by process.

Global cost of a data breach: down 9%. In the US: up 9%, to a record $10.22M. For the first time in five years, the global average fell — $4.88M to $4.44M — driven by faster AI-powered detection. The US moved the opposite way. Same tools. Same technology curve. Opposite direction. The difference is in what a breach costs after containment: regulatory fines and audits. Detection is cutting the technical cost of a breach everywhere. But in heavily regulated markets, the technical cost is no longer the line item that moves the total. The cost is set less by the attack — and more by the gap between what regulation demands and what infrastructure guarantees. Detection tools can't close that gap. Architecture can. Compliance by design, not by process.

Iagon Insight opens to everyone on Cardano. For now, Iagon Insight serves enterprise partners like Fireblocks. In about six weeks, we're bringing it to everyone building on Cardano — individuals, projects, and businesses. One API, all the data. Insight covers the endpoints and datasets you'd reach through Blockfrost, Maestro, Koios, and other providers — plus features that have never before been available to the Cardano community. We're building this for the Cardano ecosystem at no cost — so there's no need to worry about whether other initiatives get funded or not. We've got you covered. Full details in the coming weeks. Stay tuned. Designed for Enterprise. Built for Everyone.
