25 years of EXAA - a milestone best celebrated together 🥂   On Monday, we welcomed over 230 guests to Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna to celebrate this special occasion together with APCS Power Clearing & Settlement AG.   It was one of those evenings that remind you how much can happen over 25 years. Long-standing partners, customers, colleagues and friends came together to share memories, exchange ideas and look ahead to the future. A special highlight was the panel discussion moderated by Judith Obermayr-Schreiber, with Barbara Schmidt, Thomas Karall, Hansjoerg Tengg and Herbert Paierl sharing their perspectives on the development of the energy sector.   With temperatures above 30°C and the World Cup match between Austria and Argentina rounding off the evening, there was no shortage of conversation. And while Austria may not have come away with the win, the atmosphere certainly did not suffer. 🙂⚽   Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and who has been part of EXAA's journey over the past 25 years. Looking around the room was a wonderful reminder that EXAA’s success has always been built on strong partnerships, collaboration and, above all, the people behind them. Ein spannender Nachmittag beim APG-Marktforum! Unsere Kollegin Fabienne Scheucher durfte gemeinsam mit EPEX SPOT und Nord Pool zum Thema „Gekoppelte Großhandelsmärkte für Strom“ sprechen. Dabei standen die SDAC Fallback Improvement Measures und aktuelle Entwicklungen im europäischen Strommarkt im Mittelpunkt. Happy Birthday to us! 🎂 25 years ago today, on 8th of June 2001, EXAA was founded with a clear mission: to bring transparency, reliability, and innovation to the energy markets. Since our first trading day in 2002, we have continuously evolved alongside the European energy landscape - from introducing new auction formats and energy trainings to contributing to market coupling and expanding our services across borders. Over the past 25 years, none of this would have been possible without the trust of our market participants, partners, shareholders, and dedicated team members. Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we have shaped 25 years of energy market history and together, we look forward to what comes next! Last week, we celebrated a very special milestone at EXAA: our colleagues Rudolf Schneider final board meeting after more than 20 years of dedication to our company. 🌟 As former CEO and one of the key architects behind EXAA's exchange algorithm from its very beginning, he has played a fundamental role in shaping the company and laying the foundations for our success today. His expertise, vision, and commitment have left a lasting impact on EXAA, and we are deeply grateful for his invaluable contribution over the years. While he is now entering a well-deserved retirement, we are very grateful that he will continue to support EXAA and share his knowledge and experience with us. On behalf of the entire EXAA team and Board, thank you, Mr. Schneider, for your vision, commitment, and lasting contribution. We wish you all the best for this new chapter and look forward to staying connected. 🤝
