Rafael Rizuto is a Brazilian-born creative leader whose advertising career has spanned more than two decades and multiple continents. In January, he joined Droga5 as chief creative officer of New York and the Americas. Rizuto previously served as North American chief creative officer at Ogilvy. His other past leadership roles include posts at BBH USA, Dentsu Creative, 180LA and Pereira O’Dell. He also co-founded the San Francisco agency TBD. Rizuto’s portfolio includes Dove’s “Get Unready,” UNICEF’s “Unfairy Tales,” Eurofarma’s “Scrolling Therapy” and Google’s “Black Owned Friday.” He also worked on Boost Mobile’s “Boost Your Voice,” which was named Campaign of the Year at the inaugural Ad Age Creativity Awards. His work has often combined cultural themes with ideas designed to extend beyond traditional advertising. At Droga5, Rizuto oversees the New York office’s creative output while helping to connect creative teams across North and South America.
