  • Google is officially retiring its free dark web monitoring tool. But while the tool is going away, the risks aren't. 😢 If you’ve relied on Google for breach alerts, it’s time for a more "active" strategy. Dashlane helps individuals monitor, manage, and secure their accounts in one place... because your work and personal credentials are more connected than ever. Instead of just getting a vague notification and wondering what to do next, Dashlane gives you real-time alerts and the immediate tools to fix what’s exposed. Security isn’t just about knowing—it’s about acting before the damage is done. Learn more on our blog linked below.

Google's Dark Web Report officially stopped scanning today. If you were relying on it to know when your credentials were compromised, you'll need a new plan. But here's the thing: knowing your data appeared in a breach was never the hard part. The hard part is doing something about it, across hundreds of logins, many you've probably forgotten exist. At Dashlane, Dark Web Monitoring isn't a standalone feature we might sunset. It's integrated into how we think about credential security: 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀: Password Health scores every credential in your vault. Weak, reused, compromised: you see it all in one place with clear guidance on what to fix first. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘅: We go further. Our browser extension monitors every login, including passwords employees type or paste outside the vault. When someone uses a compromised credential on any site, the IT team knows about it and the employee gets alerted automatically to fix it. That second part matters more than most realize. Traditional password managers only see what's in the vault. But breach data doesn't care whether you remembered to save that password: it just gets used against you. Credential security shouldn't depend on perfect user behavior. And it definitely shouldn't disappear when a tech giant decides the feature isn't worth maintaining.

Every Product Manager knows this tension: You want to ship fast and create impact, but technical constraints feel like walls blocking every ambitious idea. Security requirements. Infrastructure limitations. Technical debt. Regulatory compliance. These aren't edge cases, they're the reality of building products in 2026. Next week, on January 21st, I'm hosting a Product Partners France event at Dashlane's Paris office to tackle exactly this challenge: How to maximize product impact while managing technical and security constraints. At Dashlane, we live this daily. Our zero-knowledge architecture means every feature must be built with uncompromising security by design. We can't compromise on encryption. We can't shortcut authentication. Yet we still need to deliver value quickly and innovate continuously. This isn't about accepting limitations: it's about turning constraints into competitive advantages. The workshop format is practical and collaborative: • Bring your real challenges (technical constraints, security requirements, compliance hurdles) • Work in small groups with fellow PMs • Walk away with concrete solutions you can apply immediately This is peer learning at its best: 𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼'𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. This is brought to you by Fabien Moreno, Jean-Philippe Fourès and Jonathan Lechevalier. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: Wednesday, January 21st 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Dashlane office, Paris 18th (Métro Anvers) Spots are limited, event is free. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 (𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀). Whether you're wrestling with infrastructure constraints, navigating security requirements, or balancing innovation with technical debt, bring your challenge. Let's solve it together! What's your biggest technical constraint right now? Drop it in the comments, maybe we'll tackle it next week. #ProductManagement #ProductPartners
