We’ve expanded our full-stack platform with native support for the Stellar network. Available today across 130+ markets, the integration gives our customers single-API access to an established blockchain built for high-volume, sub-penny asset transfers. As part of our vision to build one trusted network for every form of money, this gives payments teams another low-cost settlement route. "The future of global payments is multi-chain, but businesses shouldn't have to manage the engineering burden of connecting to dozens of individual blockchains," says Kimberly Mescal Julien, Head of Partnerships at BVNK. Marqeta Chief Strategy Officer Anthony Peculic (alongside BVNK U.S. General Manager Keith Vander Leest) on stablecoins becoming the backbone of payments: "What's funny, is if we're successful, which I think we will be as an industry, it's actually going to be invisible." "Stablecoins will sit in the background." "Many of you will use your pounds, euros, dollars, and you won't even know that that's actually being powered by stablecoins." "If we are able to have someone use a card without them understanding that there's some kind of wallet or subledger managing some sort of stablecoin in the back... I think in two years we can say: 'You know what, we should be proud of what we've done.'"

It was a packed week for the BVNK team, from DC to Monaco. At Stablecon USA in DC, we co-hosted the opening reception before joining Marqeta on stage to share some news: they’re integrating BVNK to power stablecoin card infrastructure. Our US CEO Amit Cheela also sat down with Mastercard’s R. Jesse McWaters to chat about what happens when you connect BVNK’s stablecoin-native infrastructure to Mastercard’s global network. To cap off the event, our US General Manager Keith Vander Leest joined a crisis simulation panel to talk through real-world risk management. Meanwhile at the Nordstar Forum in Monaco, our co-founders Jesse Hemson-Struthers and Donald Jackson joined Nordstar Managing Partner Ole Ruch to reflect on how stablecoins have moved from the fringe of crypto to the rails of global commerce. Across both events, the takeaway was the same: stablecoins are stepping firmly into everyday financial infrastructure. Big thanks to everyone who came by to connect and share ideas this week.

Marqeta (NASDAQ: MQ), the modern card issuing platform, is integrating BVNK's stablecoin infrastructure. Through the partnership, Marqeta will enable customers to embed USD stablecoins into wallets, cards and every day financial products. As Anthony Peculic, Chief Strategy Officer at Marqeta, said: "By collaborating with Mastercard and BVNK, our customers can issue stablecoin-backed cards that work anywhere cards are accepted, without requiring merchants to change how they accept payments." Marqeta processed $400 billion in annual payments volume in 2025, while BVNK powers stablecoin infrastructure across 130+ countries. With BVNK now part of Mastercard, Marqeta's customers will over time gain access to additional Mastercard capabilities through the same integration. If you're at Stablecon today: hear more about the partnership from Anthony Peculic and BVNK's Keith Vander Leest on stage.
