Thank you to Jewish Business NetworkJewish Business Network’s Women's Initiative Alexandra Sichel, Tori Levin, Nina Rosen, and Chayale Hershcovich for introducing us to Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Not to hide the cracks, but to make them the most beautiful part of the piece. We all break. Sometimes into a million pieces. But when you think about the times you've broken, I bet someone comes to mind who helped you build back up. It's often the people around us who become the gold that fills our cracks exactly when we need it. Last night, we came together as Jewish women at Old City Jewish Arts Center drawing wisdom from a Japanese tradition. You never know where your gold is until you look past what's in plain sight. That's exactly why we built the ALINE NETWORK app. In a professional setting, you're often known by your title and company. But there's so much more: what you actually need right now, what you have to offer, who you're really looking to find.
