Our latest article is now live and we’re exploring the question of how do we ensure AI systems are not only powerful, but trusted, lawful, and fair? Bias in AI is a strategic and legal vulnerability, we believe the future lies in AI grounded directly in constitutions, rules of engagement, and human rights obligations. By anchoring models in law and not just historical data, we can build systems that are transparent, auditable, and aligned with what is permitted. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/e8a_baWg

We were delighted to host a delegation of students from the Advanced Command and Staff Course at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom last week. Our team had the opportunity to brief them on Adarga’s capabilities and share our perspectives on working with Defence, followed by an engaging discussion on the future of AI and its role in strengthening national security. Always a pleasure to connect with the next generation of Defence leaders and explore how advanced technologies can support their mission. Thank you to the Ministry of Defence and the ACSC cohort for the thoughtful conversation.

Most AI failures in defence don’t come from weak models, they come from the joins between teams, data, policy, and operations. We’ve just published a new article breaking down why these seams matter far more than any individual feature… and how a mission-thread approach can transform how organisations design, deploy, and trust AI-enabled systems. Technology and AI are reshaping defence. Momentum is building. And the UK and Europe have the capability and capital to lead. In a timely conversation at a crucial moment for the sector, our recent roundtable breakfast held at the Royal United Services Institute venue on Whitehall last week underscored the need for bold thinking, more structured engagement and a strengthening of collaboration across the ecosystem to make it happen. Leading investors, industry specialists, and policy voices discussed a growing recognition that traditional hesitations around investment are gradually easing. And while there remains complexity in defence procurement processes, we are seeing the continued acceleration of innovation in the tech sector and new initiatives to field these vital emerging capabilities faster. We’ve just published our latest article “Beyond the Agent: Why Sovereign AI Demands Neuro-Symbolic Foundations.” As defence and national security organisations accelerate the adoption of agentic AI, the question of sovereignty becomes more urgent. In this piece, we explore how neuro-symbolic methods can help restore control by combining neural perception with symbolic reasoning to ensure AI systems act with context, accountability, and alignment. We were proud to take part in Intelligence Challenge 2025, hosted by 3 Military Intelligence Battalion at KPMG, Canary Wharf last week. The event brought together teams from across London to test analytical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure, guided by serving reserve Military Intelligence Operators. A great opportunity for our Adarga team Sam Perkins, Rich Taylor and Elliot Lewis to apply structured analysis in a fast-paced scenario and connect with others who share a passion for intelligence, data, and innovation. Thank you to the Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association for Greater London for hosting us.
