Gentle cleaning with water and mild soap restores luster, avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the coating. 3. Canvas & nylon – durable, low-effort care Canvas and nylon are ideal for daily wear. A damp cloth with mild soap is usually all that’s needed. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and strong scents to keep them looking sharp. 4. Scents – let fresh air do the work Sometimes a well-loved bag carries a less pleasant odor. Airing it out in dry conditions is the first step, if needed, a light vinegar mist can help, but use sparingly.
