CQG, Inc.’s planned sale to Broadridge is a “natural fit” that strengthens its trading platform, executives said at the FIA, Inc.'s Boca conference in Boca Raton. CQG CEO Ryan Moroney and SVP Pat Kenny highlighted positive client feedback, emphasizing the firm’s speed, flexibility, and futures and options expertise. The deal combines CQG’s execution tools with Broadridge’s scale, post-trade, and order management capabilities to build a true end-to-end trading solution. Executives say the partnership preserves CQG’s nimbleness while expanding its reach. They also noted that barriers to 24/7 trading are now less about technology and more about banking infrastructure.
