Fred Lippitt Woonasquatucket River Greenway

We took a major leap forward on a new bike path nearing completion in Providence in just one day! We had two very large pieces of a prefabricated bridge delivered late last week and installed on Friday. The bridge and new bikeway segment is part of the Fred Lippitt Woonasquatucket River Greenway. It will provide an off-road alternative to the original bike route on Valley Street, and instead run behind the Rising Sun Mills development.
