Kicked out? Build a better party.

After being thrown out of the hero party, there is only one reasonable thing to do: start your own.

My Own Hero Party is a party-building casual incremental game about clearing dangerous dungeon expeditions, collecting gold, and turning each run into permanent progress. Push through room after room, survive the pressure of your stamina timer, and use every reward to grow stronger before the next attempt.

Lead your own expedition

Each expedition sends your party through a chain of dungeon rooms filled with enemies, coins, and escalating danger. Clear rooms before your stamina runs out, grab what you can, and decide how far your current build can go.

Recruit and upgrade your party

Start with the Warrior, then unlock allies like the Archer and Healer to build a stronger formation. Each character brings their own upgrade paths, from cleaving attacks and taunts to piercing arrows, explosive shots, healing, barriers, and party-wide bonuses.

Grow between runs

Gold earned during expeditions feeds a persistent upgrade tree. Increase damage, health, armor, crits, lifesteal, healing, economy, stamina, and class-specific abilities. Every purchase changes how far the next expedition can push.

Unlock harder dungeons

Defeat dungeon difficulties to unlock new contracts and tougher challenges. Fight through Goblin's Dungeon, Minotaur's Sanctuary, Werewolf's Den, and higher difficulty tiers as your party grows from barely surviving into a force that can break through the late rooms.

Features

  • Room-based dungeon expeditions with escalating enemy pressure
  • A stamina timer that makes every run a race
  • Persistent upgrade tree progression
  • Multiple dungeons and difficulty tiers
  • Gold economy, first-clear rewards, and long-term progression
  • Pixel-art combat with growing party power and enemy density

maxing sword guy for first dungeon and maxing archer for 2nd seems to work pretty well but i never really realized healers thing since it would get oneshot by mage guys in floor 15-17 since i would neglect their upgrades since i cant get too much money because no difficulty but thats cuz demo so its fine. an upgrade for chests to open by themselves would be good since while i was playing for max upgrades for everything i would kill the room too quickly for the chest to fully open and drop the 50 billion coins

The 'Loot fast' - room clear speed also affects the regular speed of all characters. So if it is upgraded, the overall movement speed during combat is increased. Which is a huge and probably unintended advantage for the heros and makes all fights a breeze.

hopefully the protagonist isn't an incel in this one

Honestly, love the concept. It definitely needs fleshing out. Most prevalent idea comes with items. I like the simplicity of it but I feel adding some items would at least allow for multiple runs to get the best rolls or the best items.

Of course, do what you want. If the price is right as it is now i'll buy it. If there's more added down the line i'd be more likely to be happier to drop a larger amount on it

But definitely something to be proud of, easy hour lost in the game

Thank you for playing! Glad you liked our game! We are talking about what to implement in the future and your suggestion will be valuable to us, thanks for the feedback!

Nice game. 👍

Thanks for playing!

How do you use the warrior skill? I can only seem to activate it by clicking on it, at which point the warrior dashes always to the bottom center of the screen (where the skill button is), not at any enemy

Q is the hotkey and the warrior will charge into the direction of the mouse, sorry for that :(

I'm fixing it today, soon I'll have a patch online

Basically a copy paste of Loot Dungeon Incremental., Even the skill tree is the same. Sad people try to pass off others work as their own.

Really fun demo! Love the CRT shader you're using!

Thank you for playing! I also love the CRT shading, some don't so there's a toggle to turn it off

Great game, it is incredibly funny, already in my whishlist.

Thank you for playing! Glad you liked it!

It took me half way through the second dungeon to understand that I could use "Q" and "W" to use the special moves and use the mouse to dictate where they end up. I was pressing the buttons at the bottom of the dungeon which kept sending them to the bottom middle. I was under the impression that the special for the knight was almost useless if you came into a room from the bottom.

Thanks for playing! We will put this feature on the to do list, thanks for the feedback!

Played this game - it is fun game, recommending to try it out. Cleared both dungeons, wished there were more

Awesome! Thank you for playing! We are planning for more content soon enough

the skill descriptions are very buggy in full screen (browser mode) really liked it still

Hey there, thanks for playing! What browser are you using? Can you show us how exactly it's buggy?

(2 edits) (+2)

if I hover over a skill, the text box size keeps changing really fast so you can't read it. it even covers the entire screen sometimes. It seems to be caused by the little bounce the box has once you hover over it. I'm on firefox. It also happens on small screen but it goes back to normal after a bit in small screen.

this's one of the best visual game i have ever try, btw, when's the official release?

Hey thank you so much for the kind words :)

We don't have a clear official release timeline yet because we wanna polish and iterate a little bit more, the game is a little rough around the edges still and the newer mechanics that we are introducing needs some more love.

That said, I would say that probably around october/november we are going to be in a good state for a full release.

And again, thank you so much for playing :)

Extremely cool game :)

Thanks a lot! Thanks for playing!

1. How to aim the Charge skill?

2. Time is not paused when ESC menu is opened

1. It goes in the direction of the mouse position, but it has a max range (thinking about increasing it)

2. It is probably a specific case? It is not happening here for me, any chance you are playing on macOS?

Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

(1 edit) (+1)

1.  My bad. I didn't realize the symbol on the bottom-right is 'Q' for hotkey. I thought the only way to activate the skill is click and wondered how to aim.

2. The time bar looks frozen when pause menu is opened, but the real remaining time value is still running, once I un-pause, the time drops. I'm on Win11 btw.

1. Not your bad, it is a good observation actually, thank you for that, I'll find a solution to have more legible hint there :)

2. You are totally right, thank you so much for that, and sorry for that, I'll be pushing a patch soon with the fix

you use Q and W

Loving it overall. I wish there were more available in this version as I'm stuck at the hardest difficulty for the first dungeon (2 bosses wreck me there) and can't get past a few spots in dungeon 2 veteran level (not enough upgrades to overcome the huge spike in monster levels). 45 levels and 4 completions

Hey, thanks a lot for playing!

That's our bad, the veteran difficulty is still under development and it should not have been enabled yet :P

And thanks a lot for the feedback

PS: Just pushed a patch including this fix

I would be very happy to help with play testing and balancing if you want the help!

small nitpick, but the doors close before you enter the next room :D

Hey, thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
