Mati Staniszewski hat dies gepostetJust wrapped 2 weeks with our customers and partners across LATAM - the region has so much momentum and energy! Everyone I met across Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico - each with its distinctive culture and excitement, but with one common thread: high ambition to focus on applied AI and bring the value into production in a way that feels right for their customers and citizens. It matches our approach and belief: you need to be extremely local, from product and technology to deployment, with people on the ground. It's great to see ElevenLabs growing across the region to work alongside our customers and partners. A few highlights from the trip: - Discussion and a tour with one of Argentina’s largest banks. I learned that, back in the day, limited mortgage availability meant qualified applicants were - crazily - selected using a lottery machine (a bolillero). - Spending time with Claro and a leading Brazilian's telco to hear how they’re elevating customer experience - both with highly technical teams moving very quickly and building their own approaches across customer joruney. - Working with the Buenos Aires government on new ways to support citizens with everyday needs, from renewing a driving license to accessing government services. - Spending time with government teams in Chile and learning how many of them work on weekends! - Hearing how financial services companies, from Banco Inter to Bancolombia, are reinventing their work with AI and moving at pace. - How much I like Dulce de Leche! A big thank you to the ElevenLabs teams across LATAM - their passion for what businesses here are building is infectious. If you want to join, we have roles open!

Mati Staniszewski hat dies geteiltThis week, we brought all of ElevenLabs together. 800 of us, from 50 countries - and for a lot of people, the first time meeting a teammate they’ve worked with every day. Being remote-first has been a superpower for us. But there’s nothing like seeing it all in one room - the passion, the energy & the excitement for what’s ahead. Now onwards - so much more to build!

Mati Staniszewski hat dies repostetMati Staniszewski hat dies repostetCadence monitors more than 100,000 chronic disease patients across 20+ US health systems. An out-of-range vital can signal an emergency, but with 40,000+ alerts a month and clinicians dialing by hand, reaching a patient took a median of 1 hour 48 minutes. Cadence built an alert screening agent on ElevenAgents that now reaches patients in 3.5 minutes and… - Calls on every out-of-range reading and screens for symptoms - Resolves 60% of alerts end to end, following Cadence's clinical protocols - Brings a nurse from the 24/7 care team into the call when escalation is needed More than 90% of older adults in the U.S. live with at least one chronic condition, and the clinical workforce to treat them is shrinking. Cadence is expanding with ElevenAgents to close that gap, moving beyond alert screening into scheduling, device troubleshooting, appointment preparation, and patient activation. Each new agent takes on the protocol-driven calls, and every call handled end-to-end returns time to clinicians for the work that requires their judgment.

Mati Staniszewski hat dies geteiltWe're rolling out ElevenAgents across our inbound sales qualification across ElevenLabs to free up our team for more strategic work. Our AI SDR qualifies leads in 4 minutes (vs. 2 days for people), gathers far more information than a web form, and has qualified $1M of pipeline in a month. And most importantly, leads rate the experience 8.8/10 and our SDRs can spend more time on outbounding or demos for qualified leads. The experience is entirely optional: people can choose whether to speak with the AI SDR. Interestingly, those who do (and there are many!) are far more willing to share detailed information than they typically would through a traditional web form. And we can now cover 70+ languages across the world!!

We’re partnering with Universal Music Group to build a new AI-powered music platform designed to make both possible. There’s much more to come. Stay tuned!

Mati Staniszewski hat dies geteiltGreat to spend time with David Senra, who is incredible at spotting historical patterns leading to a really fun conversation & podcast. We ship a lot of products, but they are all underpinned by one research bet: voice and audio. If an experience isn't significantly improved by world class AI audio, we don't go after it. Full episode linked in the comment below!

Mati Staniszewski hat dies repostetMati Staniszewski hat dies repostetFor my next chapter, I am very excited to join the team at ElevenLabs as CFO. Voice is the most natural way for people to interact. The chance to make interacting with AI feel just as natural is such an incredible opportunity. As someone who has lived between cultures and languages, the mission pulled me in: making AI feel native and authentic in every context. It's a hard problem, so I’m excited to get going. As I’ve gotten to know the team over the last few months, a couple things really stood out: The team combines ambition, intelligence, and drive with a level of collaboration and low ego that's extremely rare. You sense it in every conversation with anyone here. The research is both at the leading edge and put to real use at scale. ElevenLabs’ text-to-speech and speech-to-text models are relied on across products most of us already use daily – from voice assistants and dictation apps, to audiobooks and flawlessly dubbed video. The creative suite is used by millions, and more recently, they’ve moved into agents for use cases from customer support to internal training. All of it is built on strong underlying research aimed at real-world use. Thanks to Mati and team for the opportunity, and to Maciej for forming such a strong team and foundation that I'm excited to build on together. We have enormous potential, so let’s build!

Mati Staniszewski hat dies geteiltEthan Tandowsky is joining ElevenLabs as CFO! Ethan was most recently CFO of Adyen, an amazing European company that scaled globally and now provides payments infrastructure to many of the world’s largest enterprises. Payments is one of the most operationally and financially complex industries - making Ethan a perfect match for us as we manage increasing complexity at a global scale, help create new marketplaces & strengthen our financial infrastructure. ElevenLabs is now a global business, with enterprises accounting for 55% of our revenue - up from 40% just last year - and conversational AI agents driving that growth - recently crossing $600M. We’d love to go public one day, and Ethan’s experience will help us build the right foundations and prepare for our next stage of growth. Welcome to the team, Ethan!

Mati Staniszewski hat dies geteiltAllegro x ElevenLabs 🇵🇱. Amazing to bring our work with Allegro - Poland’s leading e-commerce platform - to life for more than 20 million shoppers, helping them get instant answers when they call about a delivery. I was a heavy Allegro power user growing up in Poland - so it’s a lot of fun to now see our technology become part of the platform! Today, Allegro operates one of Europe’s largest online marketplaces, as well as its own logistics and delivery network across Central Europe - and has always led with innovation. ElevenAgents handles common questions immediately in a natural-sounding voice. If a call needs a human, the agent collects the tracking number and shares a summary - so the person taking over already has the context and can resolve the issue faster. And this is just the beginning of how we hope to evolve the customer journey with ElevenLabs!

Mati Staniszewski hat darauf reagiertMati Staniszewski hat darauf reagiertElevenLabs Research is going on tour this fall. We started with voice because that's where the gap between AI and human communication was most stark - and because it's a genuinely hard technical problem. Beyond the words, it requires mastering tone, emotion, and the rhythm of speech, plus all the cultural nuance and back-and-forth of real conversation. That's still the problem we're working on. Mati Staniszewski hat darauf reagiertMati Staniszewski hat darauf reagiertElevenLabs is doubling down on our partnership with KPN. It was a privilege to chat with Otto-Jan Woltjer about integrating voice AI into the network and how telcos can make these capabilities accessible to more people and businesses. Voice is taking on renewed importance in telecoms, opening up opportunities for value-added services, greater efficiency, and easier access to information. KPN is at the forefront of this shift, exploring how our partnership can bring those opportunities to life. Getting this right means thinking carefully about distribution, security, and accessibility. How do we put innovation within reach of businesses of every size, including SMEs & how do we make it practical for them to adopt and use? These questions are central to the work ahead. More to come on our continued collaboration and the broader potential of the ElevenLabs–KPN partnership. #KPN Ventures ElevenLabs

One question we often get from UK founders is simple: “Can remote AI engineers really integrate into our team properly?” It’s a fair concern. Because many companies have had at least one bad experience with remote freelancers — missed messages, timezone friction, unclear ownership. But here’s what we’ve consistently observed: When remote engineers are full-time, dedicated, and properly structured, integration is usually smooth. The problems typically appear when teams rely on: ❌ part-time freelancers ❌ shared resources ❌ unclear reporting lines ❌ no performance visibility That’s exactly why the managed model is gaining traction. At Ascentra, every engineer we place is: • fully dedicated to one client • aligned to UK working hours overlap • operating inside a secure cloud workspace • onboarded with clear communication standards In my view, remote success is less about geography — and much more about structure and accountability. Teams that get this right are scaling much faster than those still experimenting with ad-hoc freelance setups. Curious to hear from tech leaders here: What has been your biggest challenge with remote technical hires so far? #RemoteTeams #AIHiring #TechLeadership #Automation #Ascentra

Fundraising used to reward conviction. Now it rewards adaptation speed. Most founders are still fundraising like it’s 2021. It’s not. The game has changed. And it’s changing every few months. In 2021, the questions were simple: - How big is the market? - How fast can you hire? - How many engineers do you have? - What’s your long-term vision? In 2026, the questions sound very different: - What happens if OpenAI or Anthropic ships this next quarter? - Is this defensible, or just a wrapper? - Can one strong “vibe coder” build your MVP in a week? - Are you solving a real workflow, or just polishing UI? - Do you actually need enterprise, or is SMB enough to win first? - Where is your distribution moat? - Is your edge proprietary data, or are you just calling APIs? - How fast can you capture this market before it shifts again? - Speed has replaced scale as the first filter. Lean has replaced large. Proof has replaced storytelling. We’re also seeing something else: Hard pivots are no longer a red flag. They’re expected. Companies are not just iterating. They are rebuilding entirely different products for the same customer. - Early AI copilots pivoting into full workflow automation - Horizontal tools going vertical (legal, healthcare, finance) - Dev tools turning into autonomous agents - SaaS products collapsing into AI-first interfaces Even companies like Stripe, Notion, and HubSpot have rapidly repositioned around AI workflows in less than 18–24 months. And many early-stage startups are on version 3 or 4 of their product before Series A. Investors are saying this out loud. Sequoia has emphasized that “AI reduces the cost of building, but increases the speed of competition.” Andreessen Horowitz has talked about the shift from “software margins” to “data + distribution moats.” Lightspeed has pointed out that small teams can now reach $10M+ ARR faster than ever before. And YC’s recent batches are full of companies with: - Tiny teams (often <10 people) - Fast pivots - Aggressive iteration cycles measured in weeks, not quarters This creates a new tension in fundraising: Investors still want big outcomes. But they now expect: Smaller teams. Faster execution. Clearer differentiation Immediate traction or signal. The biggest shift? You’re no longer pitching a static company. You’re pitching your ability to adapt faster than the market changes. Because in the AI era: The risk isn’t building too slowly. It’s building the wrong thing… very efficiently. If you’re fundraising right now, the question isn’t: “Is this a big idea?” It’s: “How quickly can this evolve into the right one?” #founders #fundraising #startups

2026 will be about deploying, not piloting. I wrote a short piece for Sifted to share my predictions for German Tech in 2026 alongside some of the ecosystem's best. The consensus is clear: The era of "playing" with tech is over. Structural necessity is forcing our hand. Three shifts that will define the next 12 months: Energy as Data: Philipp Schröder (1KOMMA5°) is right - we are moving to an "energy automation layer." The grid is no longer just hardware; it’s a virtual power plant. Agents over Chatbots: Stefan oswald (Parloa) nailed it. We are graduating from single prompts to "multi-agent systems" that collaborate to solve end-to-end workflows. Defense as Industrial Policy: My own take - procurement will increasingly align with the speed of technology. We are moving from political debates to "sovereign infrastructure" because the threat landscape leaves us no choice. The common thread? Necessity. Whether it's the labor shortage driving AI adoption or security threats driving defense spending, 2026 is more about execution in more critical, high impact arenas than ever before. Let’s get to work. 🇪🇺🚀 https://lnkd.in/dgiPYYyR

If distribution is the new moat for software companies, does the same apply to the VCs backing them? Over the past 12-18 months or so, I've spent a fair bit of time talking with VCs through the podcast, some angel investing, and the funds we work with at Amby. A few themes kept coming up, so I started writing some of them down. One of these was whether the best funds can still afford to be almost invisible. Because for most of venture's history, many of them could. (Hint: no, I don't think so.) In an attempt to make the argument as concrete as possible, I mapped out the six factors I think decide who wins when a sought-after founder picks a fund: track record, reputation, network and access, conviction, ability to help, and process and terms. That list hasn't changed much over time, but I think that the order has (see image below). Reputation is climbing toward the top, alongside track record, while access and terms are becoming less differentiating. The founders everyone wants are younger, more technical, and often outside the old networks, so warm intros no longer reach them as before, and every fund at the table can write the same check. More than ever, it is the best founders doing the picking, and nobody picks a fund they have never heard of. Which is a problem if you're invisible. I wrote down my thoughts about why I think distribution is becoming part of the VC playbook, and what that actually means in practice. Link to the full article in the comments.
