SOBRIETY FILMS UK

Sobriety Films is a mission-driven CIC dedicated to recovery, mental health, and lived experience. We make films that challenge stigma, promote understanding, and celebrate recovery, working across documentary, narrative, and community-led projects. Alongside film production, we produce the Recovery Street Film Festival, a UK wide festival that showcases recovery-focused films and supports filmmakers with lived experience. We also run accessible filmmaking workshops, providing creative skills, confidence, and opportunities for people in recovery and allied communities to tell their own stories. Through film, festivals, and education, Sobriety Films uses storytelling as a tool for connection, empowerment, and social change, helping to build more inclusive, compassionate communities and amplify voices that are too often unheard.
