Quantum Readiness. Evidenced. Managed. Assured. From Cryptographic Discovery to Continuous Assurance.

About us

We are developing the Technology Quantum Readiness Framework (TQRF™) a sector-neutral, evidence-led methodology for managing organisational quantum readiness and QRFabric™, the future software platform designed to operationalise it. Preparing organisations for the quantum transition. QubitRnD is developing an evidence-led approach to help organisations discover their cryptographic dependencies, assess quantum vulnerability and establish a structured pathway towards post-quantum security. Technology Quantum Readiness Framework (TQRF™) From discovery to continuous assurance The problem You cannot migrate what you cannot see. Cryptography is embedded throughout modern technology environments, across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, suppliers, devices and business-critical systems. The transition to post-quantum cryptography therefore begins with a fundamental question: Where does our cryptography actually exist? Organisations need more than new algorithms. They need a way to discover cryptographic dependencies, establish reliable evidence, assess quantum vulnerability, understand migration pathways and maintain assurance as technology changes. Technology Quantum Readiness Framework - TQRF™ TQRF is QubitRnD's sector-neutral, evidence-led methodology for helping organisations manage the transition towards post-quantum security. Discover - Assess - Plan - Validate - Migrate - Re-discover - Assure Underpinned throughout by: Governance Awareness Ownership Policy Skills Evidence Management This is what makes TQRF Different Readiness should be evidenced, not assumed. TQRF is designed around evidence-backed decision making. It distinguishes what technology is supported, what is actually configured, and what can be observed, while allowing uncertainty to remain explicitly unresolved rather than replacing missing evidence with assumptions. It give organisations and understanding of their cryptographic estate.

  • We've been a little quiet. Deliberately. Over recent months, QubitRnD has been focused on a question that we believe many organisations will increasingly need to answer. How ready is our technology environment for the transition to post-quantum security? The challenge is more complex than simply adopting new cryptographic algorithms. Organisations first need to understand where cryptography exists across their technology estate, establish reliable evidence about how it is being used, understand their exposure, and create a controlled pathway towards migration. That thinking has been shaping the development of TQRF™. The Technology Quantum Readiness Framework, QubitRnD's sector-neutral, evidence-led approach to organisational quantum readiness. Alongside it, we are developing QRFabric™, our future software platform designed to operationalise TQRF and support quantum readiness at scale. Our development philosophy is deliberately simple. Validation first. Automation second. Continuous assurance ultimately. We'll be sharing more about our thinking, research and journey over the coming months, without giving away all the ingredients. "Quantum is where AI was five years ago." — Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet That line lands differently in August 2026. The field is shifting from lab demos to early industrial utility: 🔸Error correction is working at scale. Google's 105‑qubit Willow chip showed logical error rates drop as systems grow—hardware evidence that fault‑tolerant scaling behaves as theory predicted. 🔸Real workloads are running. An IBM–Cleveland Clinic–RIKEN team modeled a 12,635‑atom protein complex using two quantum systems paired with classical supercomputers (May 2026). 🔸Commercial momentum is visible. D‑Wave reported >$33M in Q1 2026 bookings (up 2,000% YoY); McKinsey's 2026 monitor calls this a "commercial tipping point," with 300+ companies moving from pilots to embedded workflows. 🔸Infrastructure, not just qubits, is the race. Buyers are prioritizing fidelity, coherence, and hybrid on‑prem/cloud deployments; 46% expect on‑prem within three years. What this means for leaders: 1️⃣ Treat quantum as a strategic option now—build literacy, map use cases, and prepare for hybrid human‑centric computing. 2️⃣ Focus on reliability metrics (gate fidelity, circuit depth) over raw qubit counts. 3️⃣ Watch chemistry, materials and quantitative finance—the sectors producing pilots that survive CFO scrutiny. The "ChatGPT moment" for quantum could be ~5 years out, but it's not guaranteed. The signal for 2026 is clear: progress is real, timelines are uncertain and the window to prepare is open. #QuantumComputing #AI #TechStrategy #Innovation #PostQuantum #QubitRnD QubitRnD https://lnkd.in/gQp7bbpm

  • Ask a hardware researcher, a cybersecurity lead, an investor and a policy maker where quantum technology is heading and you will get four completely different answers. None of them are wrong. They are just touching different parts of the same elephant. The confusion in the quantum ecosystem does not stem from a lack of progress; it comes from treating a single perspective as the complete reality. Hardware teams focus on qubit stability, cybersecurity focuses on cryptographic risk, enterprise leaders look at integration dependencies and investors evaluate commercial timelines. To navigate quantum adoption without falling into hype or unnecessary skepticism, organizations need to step back: ⚛️ Separate observation from narrative: Avoid extrapolating a single technical milestone into an immediate commercial timeline. ⚛️ Align timelines and definitions: Physics, engineering, algorithms and business deployment operate on fundamentally different clocks. ⚛️ Invest in adaptation over prediction: Building crypto-agility, upgrading talent and preparing infrastructure matters far more than guessing the exact year quantum advantage arrives. Clarity comes from seeing the whole elephant, not just the part right in front of you. When individual perspectives vary so widely across the quantum landscape, trust becomes the only reliable anchor for turning complex progress into confident enterprise action. Quantum. Trust. • Post-quantum cryptography is no longer a theoretical exercise. With NIST PQC standards finalized and the NSA CNSA 2.0 procurement mandate fast approaching, migration has shifted from a planning exercise to a pass-fail acquisition requirement. If your enterprise is still treating PQC as a future task, your data is already vulnerable to Store Now, Decrypt Later (SNDL) interception. Here is the concrete breakdown of roadmap for post-quantum security: 💎Deploy Hybrid Key Exchange Now: Prioritize key exchange (ML-KEM-768 paired with classical keys) immediately to protect data confidentiality against SNDL attacks. 💎Watch for Protocol Traps: Prepare load balancers for TLS packet bloat, force hybrid KEX in OpenSSH 9.9+ and enable fragmentation in IPsec (IKEv2) to prevent massive UDP packet drops. 💎Address the Zero Trust Bottleneck: ML-DSA signatures are up to 50x larger than ECDSA, which can saturate network bandwidth during high-frequency microservice authentications. Use policy-based algorithm selection to maintain velocity. 💎Secure the Hardware Layer: Flawless mathematics cannot save vulnerable hardware. Fast FPGA accelerations can leak secret keys through electromagnetic emissions, requiring strict limits on ephemeral key lifetimes. 💎Build True Crypto-Agility: Hardcoded algorithms are now a liability. Systems must be engineered to swap cryptographic primitives as seamlessly as rotating passwords. Swipe through the carousel below for concrete protocol configurations, migration timelines and architectural fixes. #PostQuantum #Cybersecurity #Cryptography #ZeroTrust #InfoSec #NetworkSecurity #QubitRnD

  • Every telecom CEO thinks they have time. They don't. Somewhere right now, an adversary is capturing your encrypted traffic — signalling data, customer identities, enterprise contracts — and simply storing it. Not because they can break it today. Because they're betting they'll be able to in a few years, once quantum computers catch up. This is "harvest now, decrypt later." And in an industry where data has to stay protected for a decade or two, it's already too late to pretend this is a future problem. The good news: the fix doesn't require you to become a quantum physicist. It requires three things. 🔐 Post-quantum cryptography — algorithms that hold up against classical and quantum attacks alike, running on the infrastructure you already have. 🔑 Quantum key distribution — physics-based eavesdropping detection for the links that matter most. 🔄 Crypto agility — the discipline to swap algorithms fast, because today's "secure" standard won't be the last one. None of this happens by accident. It happens because a CEO asked the right question first: where does our cryptography actually live and which of our data can't afford to be exposed ten years from now? The telecom companies that answer that question this year will be the ones customers, regulators and partners still trust in the quantum era. The ones that don't will find out the hard way what "harvest now, decrypt later" really means. 📊 Full breakdown in the attached visual. QubitRnD — Quantum. Security. • Quantum. Security. Delivered. Quantum computing is no longer a distant threat on the horizon — it is a present-day risk to the data infrastructure that governments and critical institutions depend on. Adversaries are already executing "harvest now, decrypt later" strategies, quietly collecting encrypted data today in anticipation of decrypting it once quantum capabilities mature. At QubitRnD, we believe resilience must be built in layers, not bolted on as an afterthought. Strategic Framework for Quantum Resilience maps out exactly how government agencies and national security bodies can future-proof their critical data infrastructure: 🔹 Physical Layer— Quantum Key Distribution networks, secure data centers and tamper-detecting hardware 🔹 Logical & Algorithmic Layer— Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms, crypto-agile systems, and Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNG) 🔹 Operational & Governance Layer— Threat intelligence sharing, incident response planning and regulatory compliance and auditing These layers are held together by three core attributes — adaptability, redundancy and interoperability — and guided by a clear five-stage transition pathway: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Validation and Monitoring. The outcome isn't just technical compliance. It's enhanced national security, stronger public trust and truly protected critical national infrastructure. The quantum transition is a journey, not a switch. Agencies that start assessing and planning today will be the ones best positioned when the threat fully materializes. 📊 Full framework visual attached. #QuantumComputing #CyberSecurity #PostQuantumCryptography #NationalSecurity #CriticalInfrastructure #QuantumResilience #QKD #PQC #GovernmentTechnology #QubitRnD
